Guest gthureson Report post Posted October 10, 2002 Is that the storyline where Ancient One is dying, and Doc is fighting Mordo and Dormammu alot? If so, that one kicked ass. I'll have to look for it when I'm down by the store next store. The 2nd series was pretty good, even though it was kind of bumpy when it was forced to mesh in with the Midnight Sons nonsense all the time. I think Doc's handled all that better than any of the other titles it was foisted upon. (Especially Ghost Rider. I was reading through old Ghost Rider comics, and realized how impossible it was just to read GR for about two years, without having to dig out the rest of the crossover.) I kind of like the Strange Tales (split with Cloak and Dagger), where Doc had to turn to Black Magic for awhile.
Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted October 11, 2002 The first run I am talking is Doc's old late '60's run where his numbering of issues continued from his old Strange Tales book which became Doc Strange's own series. Dr.Strange's first series ran from issue #169 - #183 (June 1968 - October 1969). His second series ran from issue #1 - #81 (June 1974 - February 1987). The third Dr.Strange series ran from issue #1 - #90 (November 1988 - June 1996).
