Being the best match on Raw really isn't an accomplishment. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, when I watch the WWE womens wrestlers it looks as if they are pretending to wrestle rather than actually wrestling. You can see the spots come from a mile away, very few of the moves are actually convincing, they don't really ever go beyond 10 minutes, and there really is no substance to them at all... which is actually a criticism of the wwe in-ring product in general, but the women take it to another level.

 

Gail Kim is no Eiko Koike.

I don't think anyone is trying to slag off Finlay as a trainer Andy, I'd say they HAVE improved since he's been there (particualy Trish), but when the company hires more on looks than natural talent there's only so much the guy can do, especially with the set in their ways likes of Jackie and Ivory

I'm still kinda hoping for the day that all the women in the WWE leave both Raw and Smackdown and form their own show...seperate from it.

 

Sorta like how Japan does it. And it'd cause them to have to bring back the Women's Tag Team Titles Too!

 

...of course, that also might mean Jackie Gayda gets a title belt...

Maybe she wants money? Isn't Joshi in somewhat of a slump right now? Even though i know WWE will ruin her if she ever signed, i still would like to see her in WWE. I know it won't be as bad as what WCW did to Hokuto.

 

Rob, this is kind of off topic, but did you see Hamada vs. Nakanishi yet? I've been looking for reviews for the match, and I'm might get the AJW 35th Anniversary show just for this match. The rest of the card looked horrible, imo.

nah I've not seen it yet but I'll be picking it up on my next order from Jeff, the card didn't look THAT bad to me, hardly Dreamslam obviously but some intriguing stuff

 

Joshi's in a slump but Ayako's becoming the figurehead so I doubt she's struggling money wise, we could do with a couple of companies folding so talent is less spread though

But aside from that, in my opinion, i think the card is extremely weak considering how big this event was, and why ASARI couldn't wait another week before retiring on this show is beyond me.

She was always entertaining, not a great wrestler, but i thought she was entertaining. She was also one of the first Joshi wrestlers that caught my eye until i saw how better the others were. You can somewhat say, she introduced me to Joshi, so yeah, it holds a somewhat sentimental value.

 

I've been reading some reports, and seems like Yokota is back in the ring. Exactly how good is she right now?

I've not seen her comeback, or read anything about it yet (to be honest I've been out of the loop a few weeks due to general busyness)

 

I can't imagine it could be anything but legacy ruining though
