Guest Indikator Report post Posted June 9, 2003 He was IWA Champion. I got a tape of that promotion and it´s just surreal to have a Mil Mascaras match right after a Cowboy Bob Ellis match. Yet my knowledge of Mil and that promotion is limited, so I´d also like to know a little bit about him. And how did he end up as a longtime champion in the US? Guest res37618 Report post Posted June 14, 2003 I know that Mascaras made an appearance at WCW's Clash of the Champions - Texas Shootout (Jan. '90) in a match vs. Cactus Jack . . one of my favorite WCW matches, if only for Mick's fall from the ring onto the floor, straight on the back of his head. Jim Cornette yelling "Oh my God, Cactus Jack is dead!" was just priceless! Was that Mil Mascaras' only WCW appearance in that "era" or was he there for a short time? I hope that Mil Mascaras is his real name though...if not, I'm related to another one. We almost have identical last names so that adds to it as well.
