Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 10, 2003 Has anyone ever heard Sepultura doing a duet with Luciano Pavarotti, singing "Roots, Bloody Roots"? Is this for real?

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted June 10, 2003 Sepultura's one of those bands that should really get mentioned with all the metal greats people talk about. They put out all kinds of kick ass material, grew and expanded as time went on, and called it quits when they should have, leaving a collection of awesome cds with no overtly sucky ones. Beneath the Remains and Chaos AD are absolute must-hear albums.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted June 10, 2003 Chaos AD is a landmark metal album. Sure, I love "Refuse/Resist" more than any of their other work, but that's because it's a good song. I think most don't put them in the same list of the "greats" due to the lack of US exposure outside of the metal fanatics, and the fact that Max is in SOULFLY now (who took 3 albums just go get LISTENABLE). Guest gangsteruwa Report post Posted June 10, 2003 SET US FRRRRRREE!!! (note the trill on the r) That's pure classe. I marked for the Mama Meah awkwardly placed in there. There is no way that is real though. It's definately funny.

You think Soulfly got progressively better? I thought they hit a plateau of "decent" with the first album and nosedived into suck immediately after. Primitive is special guested to hell and back, and the third album is just plain boring and bad.

Guest HellSpawn Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I remember Sep at Rock in Rio 3. It was Great, and it turns better 'cause right after (or was before? I need to check that tape again) their performance the host and hostess made an interview with them. That day, in words of E&C, Reek of Awesomeness. Sepultura, Halford, Maiden, and after that... they replayed Guns n Roses. I got almost 8 hours of metal Whoooooooooo!
