I read the Metallica article in USA Today the did around the St. Anger album, and in it Lars was spewing some crap about how he doesn;t have a problem with the sharing of his music, but he wants to control what is put out there.

Back in the days when Metallica was shovelling the dirt on the corpse of Napster, Lars said he really didn't care that their music was being shared. BUT, his concern was that the music could be downloaded in full digital quality. So it's not the fact that people pirate the music; it's that they do it in digital hi-fi. Whatever. Metallica survived for years because of bootleggers spreading the word and they should remember that.

Lars is just a carrot-up-the-ass corporate bitch.

This is incredibly funny since the music on Kazaa sucks ass in quality, and Apple is now selling full digital quality versions off it's Music Store.
