Guest tombstone Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Cruiserweight Title Sean Waltmann © vs. Eddie Guerrero X - pac won the Cruiser title in the nWo but retained after his change to Waltmann after their break up post judgement day. He is given a mystery opponent for Summerslam which turns out to be Eddie G. Great psychological match with lots of high spots & reversals, ending in Eddie reversing the X - factor into a jawbreaker and nipping up RVD style to hit the Frog Splash & win the Cruiser title. Booker vs. Test Set up after a tag loss where test spent too much time paying attention to his valet Stacy. Booker turns face. back & forth with lots of power moves eventually Booker hits the axe kick and goes down for the spinerooni when Stacy wades in with a chair and Booker spins into a big boot followed by the powerbomb for the win for Test. Lance Storm vs. Edge Storm had been taking the piss out of the 'dorky' Torontan and edge had taken the piss out of Forest Gump. Great technical match eventaully won by Edge as he ducks a super kick to hit the Impaler for the win. Intercontinental Title Rob Van Dam © vs. The Rock RVD had become increasingly cocky as he proves undefeatable for the IC title, eventually pissing the Rock off for his lack of respect. (RVD is like Rocky circa summer 1998) decent match with RVD eventually going hardcore and smashing chairs into the Rock from every angle, ending with a chair assisted ***** Frog Splash for the retention. Incidentally RVD has beaten the Rock so badly he will be out for FOUR MONTHS (as long as it takes to film a movie) Tag Team Titles The Outsiders © vs. The Undertaker & Kane Power match, outsiders with the win after Hall pulls the rope down as taker shoots the ropes then a double team on Kane. Ownership Ladder Match Ric Flair vs. Vince McMahon set up as the Brand extension is 'not working' the stipulation being that whoever grabs the 'contract' at the top of the ladder is sole owner of the WWF. Vince & Flair re - do their streetfight from the Rumble but eventually Linda accompanied by SHAWN MICHAELS appear and Michaels gives a stunned Vince who was setting upn the ladder a SWEET CHIN MUSIC to an ENORMOUS FAN POP. Michaels nips up the ladder to recieve the contract and hands it to Linda, meaning Vince & Flair are out of the WWF FOREVER. Undisputed WWF Title Triple Threat Triple H ©vs. Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit Set up after Jerichos win at KOTR and his feud with benoit continues. Eventually HHH pins Jericho after a Pedigree. Last Match Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Sting After facing Austin at Judgement Day and Rock (one last time) at KOTR Hogan stated his last match would be at Summerslam. Sting appeared and beat Hogan down, saying he wants the shot at Hogan he was always denied in WCW. (WWF have signed Sting on a one match deal) Usual Hogan vs. Sting affair, with Hogan escaping the Scorpion Deathlock AND kicking out of the Stinger Splash to eventually hit the boot and drop the leg for the win in his last match. A proper send off at last for Terry.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Except the Booker T. vs Test could have used more buildup I liked it. -Essa Rios
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 I'd use Hogans last match to have him put over a monster heel who could say he was the one who finally destroyed Hulkamania. If Hogan would job clean that is.
