Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted June 11, 2003 WWE made sure the wrestlers of the RAW brand were taken care of during their trip overseas for the UK PPV by chartering a private jet to make the flight more comfortable. This of course gave the wrestlers much more room and was very luxurious with all first class seating. -I mean, seriously, isnt Vince a saint for avoiding trouble like that, lets all give him a big round of applause. Yes, i was being sarcastic, this is all about pleasing "the right people", whho all happened to be on that flight. And they wonder where all the money is going
Guest Goodear Report post Posted June 11, 2003 ... Vince charters a flight. ... Damn that Triple H. ... Am I missing something?
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted June 11, 2003 RAW Brand had to tour third world countries. One of them now has some weird stomach virus. It's wrong to give them a good flight?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 11, 2003 What's the big deal here? It's no different from when an professional sports team charters a privite jet for cross country use... Besides...This is a business expense for Vince anyways... he doesn't lose money... He prevents the performers from sickness from Airline food...insures personal saftey and avoids constroversey should anything happen ala Plane Ride 1... Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 11, 2003 The Plane Ride from Hell was a regular airline? It wasn't that long ago, I'm suprised there wasn't all kinds of scrambling the murderjets thanks to the post-Sep 11 stuff. I guess being over the ocean and in the middle of nowhere kept things from getting seriously fucked.
Guest HellSpawn Report post Posted June 12, 2003 So... you want the WWE to book a regular plane filled with all kind of people and the wwe crew? or you want another fight like the one with Brock last year? I didnt understand your comment.
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted June 12, 2003 eh who cares? Vince can use our money however he wants now that we've given it for years. But there are a few things i'd mark for: Plane Ride from Hell II: When 3MW Attacks! & Ross saying, just once, "Damn you SARS! Damn you all to hell!" of course someone would need to get SARS, despite it being somewhat out of fashion these days, but come on JR on a SARS rant? i'm there, because my sad little life dictates it
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Seriously, you know how the ring fogs up during Edge's introduction? They should say it's a SARS disease cloud. Edge is from Toronto, right? It's a perfect fit! Finkel: From Toronto, Canada! Cole: Well, coming out of the SARS cloud, this young superstar blah blah blah. Tazz: Hold your breath, Cole! It's drifting this way! Guest nikowwf Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Wow, we have reached new heights of Smarkdom...we complain when the WWE charters a plane ONCE to bring its people home from overseas. Someone should start a thread complaining about the WWE's overuse of pyro! Or the money spent giving John Cena all those different jerseys. niko
JasonX 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 I don't see a problem here....am I missing something? I think it might be a reference to the screwed-up social system inside the WWE locker-room that says that unless you are a main eventer (and by "main eventer", your names have to be HHH, Austin, Rock, or Undertaker) or friends with HHH, you are not allowed to fly First-Class during these types of overseas tours...
