Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Report post Posted June 15, 2003 I call my best friend, who just happens to be a hot chick who showers me with sympathy. Hey, me too. But yeah... Computer games mostly. They keep my mind as blank as it'll get and reduces the regularity with which it wanders onto what's depressing me. That, and porn and the internet. I just become hermetic unless propositioned. Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2003 I used to drink, until I ran my car into a median rail, so now I try to do some sort of exercising.
Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted June 19, 2003 I attempt suicide...or drink Kool-Aid...or even better...attempt suicide while drinking Kool-Aid. That's good! That's good! I think you mean you attempt suicide by drinking Kool-Aid. Liquid sugar that stuff. As for me, back in my days of getting depressed on a somewhat regular basis, I'd just mope around and do little of note, which is pretty much what I'd do anytime. These days, I buy a DVD or something (once again, something I do even when I'm not depressed), but I find that it's usually not even that great a temorary solution. Last time I did that, I bought three of them and felt like shit 15 minutes. Whatever you all do, stay away from the kitchen. That's where 85% of the sharp items in your household reside. Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted June 19, 2003 I usually play music really REALLY loud. Almost always play the Beatles' 'Yer Blues' or 'Happiness is a Warm Gun' over and over. It's kinda hard though since I own the White Album on Vinyl.
Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted June 19, 2003 Beat the meat and get something to eat. But uh, make sure you visit the sink en route to the second activity.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2003 when I get really depressed, I masturbate like a fiend... at least five times a day.... that hasn;t happened in awhile though... this past saturday when a friend of mine was telling me about her sexual escapades (and I had already been drinking), I got a major case of jealousy and depression that I just signed off and buried myself in a video game until the sun came up.... thats what I normally do too, just play and play and play until I feel somewhat normal. Guest SweetNSexyDiva Report post Posted June 19, 2003 I call my best friend, who just happens to be a hot chick who showers me with sympathy. Or I'll buy a CD or DVD or something. Hey, whatta ya know, I call my best friend too! And it always helps brighten my day! I also listen to a lot of music... it is therapeutic fr me. I love to sing, so singing also helps me get out of a funk. Sometimes it also helps me to spend some quiet time with my little boy, who is 2 years old. Children are so happy, and it helps me be happy. Most people can't tell when I am depressed because I am one of those people who are happy all the time... I guess I hide it well. I did go through a period where I was even fucking up at work because I was so depressed... talking to someone really helps. They say laughter is the best medicine, and it's true. My best friend always knows how to make me laugh.
