Guest jm29195 Report post Posted June 14, 2003 I just ordered a couple of dvds from them and I was wondering how long it takes for them to dispatch and deliver normally? btw- the new ecw tv dvds are getting better all the time- vol 2 had Benoit vs Scorpio and Benoit vs Snow- vol 3 had Benoit/Mlaenko vs Sabu/Taz and now I've just ordered vol 4 which has Malenko vs Guerrero, and Malenko/Benoit vs Whipwreck/Norman Smiley- does anyone know how good that match is? Vol 5 has Scorpio vs Malenko and Scorpio vs Guerrero- does anyone know if those are any good because they certainly ound pretty cool? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest jm29195 Report post Posted June 16, 2003 On the ECW TV dvds I've got, vol 2 has Benoit vs Snow which is a ***-**** match with snow taking an absolute beating from Benoit Benoit vs Scorpio is ***- easilly as good as their match from Superbrawl 93 and longer. Benoit/Malenko vs Taz/Sabu is ****, a really nasty brawl, with Sabu in good form Malenko vs Guerrero is *****, imo the best ecw match I've seen, incredible chain wrestling. Scorpio vs Malenko is ***- very good considering their clashing (imo) styles Scorpio vs Guerrero is ****1/2 stars, best Scorpio match I've seen Compared to Angle vs Benoit- well there is definetly a much greater variety of moves showcased due to them not being restricted by the 'wwe style', all sorts of nasty head drops and exotic suplx variations. Also imo the chain wreslting used by Malenko is ver different from the amateur inspired stuff that Angle and Lesnar use- so both types of matches are equally entertaining althoguh in different ways. Guest jm29195 Report post Posted June 16, 2003 Get vol 2 first then vol 4/3 and vol 5 when it comes out, vol 1 is not worth touching unless you're a completist, a word of warning though each of these volumes seems to contain a Cactus Jack vs Sandman extreme death match for some reason, they are all really crap!
