1998 Steve Austin vs HBK Feud + Highlights

Currently doing this on EWR(Didn't change clock to 1998 so it's 2003)

 

*Backstory*

Ran WCW from July to October raising Eddy Guerrero from a 70 overness to 89 in one show, whilst having him join NWO which was my main highlight during that time frame(Had him feud with Sting). Other highlights were Chris Jericho winning the TV Title from Booker T. and cheating/getting self DQed to retain the belt at all costs. Was pushing Ghosts and Ghouls(Mortis/Wrath) to the Tag Titles where they defeated Chris Benoit/Dean Malenko at Fall Brawl. Pushed Raven as the US Champ and had an off/on feud with DDP. Pushed Bret as a the Fighting World Champ and had him feud with Hollywood Hogan(After Hogan returned from rehab). Anyways, Linda requests that I join WWF and I accept as I just raised WCW to 100 global and figured I'd do the same for the WWF. I also edited HBK to be a Main Eventer rather then a non-wrestler cause I'm biased that way, Also included NAO segments as they'll intertwine with the HBK/SCSA feud later.

 

Monday Night Raw(October 20th)

-Shawn Michaels and Triple H talk about how Steve Austin is nothing to them and how he'll never be as great as the Heartbreak Kid is.

-Undertaker gets ambushed by the New Age Outlaws after HBK comes out on the ramp and talks trash to him.

-Steve Austin retorts by talking about how HBK/HHH think they can do whatever they want but the fact is, Steve Austin'll kick their asses the whole day if he wants to.

-HHH/HBK/Chyna later ask if the New Age Outlaws want a spot in DX, NAO say they'll think about it.

-Shawn Michaels wins the vacated WWF Title over Undertaker after Chyna low blows Taker. After the match, Steve Austin runs down with a steel chair and KO's HBK and HHH.

 

Monday Night Raw(November 3rd)

-New Age Outlaws come out and say that they accept the offer and become the newest members of DX.

-Steve Austin and The Undertaker talk trash to each other after last week's incidents as DX watches on backstage

-Undertaker/Steve Austin b. Shawn Michaels/Kane via Stunner to Kane after HBK abandons Kane to get away from Steve Austin

 

Monday Night Raw(November 17th)

-Shawn Michaels attacks Stone Cold backstage with a chair repeatedly, sending Austin the hospital.

-Gorilla Monsoon makes a World Title match between Shawn Michaels and Cactus Jack for next week's Raw

-Shawn Michaels draws with Undertaker after Cactus Jack runs in and takes out HBK with a Double Arm DDT

 

Monday Night Raw(November 24th)

-DX are in the ring where Shawn says that if Stone Cold wants a shot at the World Title at Survivor Series, he needs to defeat Billy Gunn tonight

-Cactus Jack is shown entering Stone Cold's lockerroom

-Steve Austin b. Billy Gunn via Stunner. After the match, Road Dogg runs down but receives a Stunner for his troubles.

-Shawn Michaels b. Cactus Jack via Sweet Chin Music after Chyna distracts Jack on the apron. After the match, Steve Austin runs down as Shawn tosses Chyna towards Austin. Austin delivers a Stunner to Chyna as HHH and HBK both scramble to the back.

 

*This now leads to a World Title Match between Shawn Michaels, current Champ and challenger, Steve Austin at Survivor Series 1998. Other highlights are HHH, current IC Champ feuding with Owen Hart after HHH beat Owen to win the Title thanks to Chyna's help. New Age Outlaws are going to defend their Tag Titles against the Legion of Doom thanks to LOD's win in a non-title match on the November 17th Raw. Rob Van Dam will defend his European Title against D'Lo, after RVD won by a Van Daminator behind the ref's back.
