Guest bravesfan Report post Posted June 15, 2003 (edited) Bear with me here, I'm not very computer-savvy, when it comes to IRC. Can anyone assist me with IRC, namely how to request/download multimedia? (LATEST FOUL-UP: Let's say, I'll close mIRC after a good block of downloading, yet I've still got about ___ MB to download. Do transfers have resume features on here, and how will I know if my file can be resumed?) Thanks in advance for ANY help here. Guest admin Report post Posted June 16, 2003 How to request and download via IRC is very different on every server and chatroom. Most commonly you request things by typing something like: "!moviez" and the movies bot in the room contacts you provately to chat and from there its generally like DOS or linux command line options. Using thins like "get FILE.NAME" to download that file.
