Guest HBK16 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 Damn Dumb and Dumberer did horrible. I was expecting atleast to do a #2 spot. I went to see it and there was one funny part in the whole movie so I can understand why it did so bad. Finding Nemo owned so Im glad its still #1.
Guest Downhome Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I saw Dumb & Dumberer yesterday, and I have VERY strong feelings towards that film. It just might be the worst comedy that I've ever seen in my life, I hated it that much.
Guest wwF1587 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 THANK GOD! for a minute there i thought that there might be a chance that dumb and dumberer get number 2 or ::GasP:: number 1... that movie deserves to do bad....finding nemo does own all so I am glad its still number 1..... gee i wander whats going to be number one next week
Guest wwF1587 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 oh and one thing that kinda shocks me is that Rugrats did better than Hollywood Homicide... i mean i wanst really looking forward to either but still.....
Guest HBK16 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I actually think Finding Nemo was the best this year for me. Im really excited about 28 Days Later though. Im in to those kinds of movies.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I think Finding Nemo might end up with a higher overall box office than the Matrix:Reloaded.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 oh and one thing that kinda shocks me is that Rugrats did better than Hollywood Homicide... i mean i wanst really looking forward to either but still..... It's simple really. Hollywood Homicide looked horrid and Rugrats has a good sized core audience. Besides, Rugrats was always considered to be a quality show.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 Wyatt Earp ? That's a terrible cowboy name.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 Hollywood Homicide had terrible marketing. I haven't seen the film, but everyone and their grandma has commented on that so I guess it is true. Supposedly it is more of a comedy than the buddy cop flick it was made out to be by the trailers.
Guest Memoirs of an Invisible Chevy Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I thought Dumb and Dumberer was going to do horrible. This is a surprise.
Guest HBK16 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I thought Dumb and Dumberer was going to do horrible. This is a surprise. It did pretty bad though.
Guest razazteca Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I saw the preview special on Comedy Central and its clips were bad looking. But I am still considering paying $2.50 just to see how bad it is.
Guest Memoirs of an Invisible Chevy Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 I thought Dumb and Dumberer was going to do horrible. This is a surprise. It did pretty bad though. Man I didn't think it was going to crack the top 10, let alone make 11 million debut! Its better than any Kevin Smith opening weekend.
Guest Lethargic Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Wow, I sure do feel sorry for Hollywood Homicide. They marketed the shit out of the movie. I couldn't go five minutes without seeing that damn commercial and it didn't do a damn thing this weekend. That's hilarious.
Guest Vyce Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 I'm not that surprised about Hollywood Homicide. Every person I know who saw the film this weekend hated it.
Guest Retro Rob Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 I like Harrison Ford, but I don't like Josh Hartnett. I think I'm gonna pass on that one.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 I think its funny that Bruce Almighty brought in more than Dumb and Dumberer. Im glad that the stupid piece of crap bombed. Now I can focus my hatred towards the upcoming Mask sequel, another Jim Carrey movie that Im fond of, that doesn't need a sequel. The hatred won't be as strong as it was with Dumb and Dumberer, but it will still be there. and what the hell is The Jolly, Green Giant?
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 and what the hell is The Jolly, Green Giant? Hulk I must be the only one that enjoyed Dumb and Dumberer.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Well why the hell not Say "Hulk"? I thought it was coming out next weekend..I guess that shows how much I care about it.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Because he gave us too much credit and didn't think someone wouldn't get it? I mean honestly...
Guest El Satanico Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 If by next weekend you meant June 20th, then you'd be correct.
