Guest Grand Slam Report post Posted June 17, 2003 I am assuming that most of the people on this board are interested in both wrestling and more "literary" pursuits, like reading and writing. Thus, allow me to suggest the SWF. We write. We write our promos, our matches and everything in between. As a former competitor, I can assure you that my typing, writing, editing and "deadline" skills (my spelling though, not so much) were sharpened immensely by my participation in the SWF. I learned to write quickly, describe physical action well, come up with dialogue and action "on the fly", work on a tight deadline and plan out complicated plotlines and angles with others on a regular basis. And I had fun doing it. In the SWF, you basically control your own booking by writing plotlines and matches that advance the angle you want to run. Requesting matches and angles is as easy as sending a member of Creative Control (like myself, Suicide King or Edwin MacPhisto) a PM laying out the plan. In most cases, we will do everything to accomidate your requests. The SWF is unique in this and a major reason that we will be celebrating our third anniversary in a few short months with our annual Genesis Pay-Per-View. The SWF is the only e-fed I have seen where your character is taken seriously and you control their destiny. Follow the link in my sig to our section of the boards or check out our new website. Besides, while I disagreed with you there, I don't think I've ever been vehemently opposed to anything else you've said that I have seen. Besides, I don't review the applications.
