Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Following in the footsteps of JHawk I did a review of the DVD of All Star Extravaganza. While I'm sure my ratings may be a bit suspect this was only the second ROH show I've seen so I was easily impressed. http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/videos/a...p?videos_id=

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I have no idea what that means. But I'll take it as a compliment
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 18, 2003 It means you're a good man, Bob Barron. Its settled for me, I'm getting ASE and Do or Die for my RoH purchases this month.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Good choices Nevermortal. I'm reviewing Revenge on the Prophecy currently- it should be up soon
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Bob- You're not in Toronto right now, though, are you? I'm just asking because you said it took 3 days and I'm wondering if you meant three to Toronto or NY?
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I'm in NYC for the summer. It took three days to get to NY.
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Just read your review on 411, nice stuff Bob. I'm finishing up my review of AJPW Oct. Giant Series 1999 and then going on to the three ROH shows I just got from RF (First Anniversary, Expect the Unexpcted, Night of Champions). With you in NYC and me in Syracuse, it looks like we've got the corner on the ROH review market for NY State
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 18, 2003 BT, you gotta do Expect the Unexpected first....what a show...
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I already watched all three of them (I never review on a first viewing) and Expect the Unexpected impressed the hell out of me. Especially the welts on the Special K guy Low Ki kickd the living hell out of. I'm going to review them chronologically though, so Expect the Unexpected is going to be #2 Just a question for you ROH fans who've seen them all. What show was the big announcement that Raven was first coming to ROH made on? At 1st Anniversary show nothing was said of it.
Guest Jimmy Saint Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Good to see people getting into ROH. but you don't know who he was or have any respect for JT Smith that ain't right.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I'm still waiting for my two ROH dvds. Unscripted and Honor Invades Boston. It should come soon...it better come soon. *goes checks mailbox*
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted June 18, 2003 I know who JT Smith was The ORIGINAL Full Blooded Italian and the man who originally was going the use the gimmick that was dug out six years later for Reverand D Von
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Oh okay- I never watched much ECW (well none at all) so that's why I had no idea who JT Smith was
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted June 18, 2003 Bob, its ok, because Smith never really did anything with RoH after that.
