Randy "the Natural" Couture stopped Chuck "the Iceman" Liddell in the 3rd round. Couture becomes the first UFC fighter to win world titles at two weight divisions Kimo Leopoldo def. Tank Abbott Vitor Belfort KO'd Marvin Eastman in the 1st rd Vernon White and Ian Freeman fought a 3-round draw Frank Mir won in the 1st after Wes Sims was DQ'd for illegal kicks to the face Yves Edwards manhandled Eddie Ruiz for three rounds for the decision Falaniko Vitale won by 1st Round KO after Matt Lindland knocked himself out during a takedown Pedro Rizzo won by 2nd round TKO over Tra Telligman
Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Other then Chuck taking a beating I'm not too shocked, although Randy was a heavyweight (and Tito will use this as another excuse to duck Chuck) And I'm sure Lindland would have won if he didn't screw up. Why is Tank Abbot still around? The level of talent now is so above him.
