Since 1999 they have been slowly humanizing the wrestler to fit in with the less cartoony atmosphere of Raw (well, kinda less cartoony). Kane lost his voice box, then changed his costume, then he started talking more, then they changed his costume AGAIN, then he showed up in 2002 with a new, smaller mask (and a new costume). Now they may take off the mask. Some may say the change has not been for the better. After all, it did result in one of the worst angles ever (maybe the worst), Katie Vick, plus we had to see Kane do a spineroonie. Other's say that it will finally release Kane from his silly gimmick and let him be a nornal wrestler. I think demasking him would be a bad decision. While Kane is a good wrestler for a big guy, the mask is what sets him apart. When they pull it off at MSG, who's going to care about Glen Jacobs, generic wrestler #782? What do you think? Do you vote Nay or Yay for the demasking?

That would mean Xpac, Tori, Crips, Patterson, Brisco, Undertaker...all those people where in on the lie and that would just be awful. They can't just ignore it since it's been part of his character so long. Also you cannot go back on this. It's not something like the IC title which you can just bring back. Monday they're going to change his gimmick FOREVER. Like him or not they use him in a main event role fairly often and doing something like this when they probably have no long term plan is asinine.

They've done enough shoot angles to be able to explain this away. I mean, do the announcers ever mention the Undertaker having supernatural powers? I thought not.

Wouldn't it add to it if Big Brother was concerned about him? Here's my question...Has RVD seen him maskless? We've become to assume they have but we don't know... And why would HHH care? He's seen him maskless about 4 times at this point... And again...When will they ever admit who gave the info to HHH about Vick? Were we to assume it was Orton or Flair?

That got changed to just his face. At the beginning he couldn't talk, then he had to use a voice box, and now he can talk perfectly.

I know this is lame and a bit deus-ex-machina, but they've really got themselves painted into a corner and I'm doing my best. Kane died in the fire. Paul Bearer just hired some schmoe from USWA to portray Kane for all general intents and purposes. Soon after, Undertaker caught on to the joke, and in fear of damaging the crediblility of everyone, he just played along and pretended Glen Jacobs was Kane. When Kane joined X-Pac, X-Pac, that little grease rat, threatened to expose the fraud, but Vince said he'd fire anyone who blew the top off the Kane deal. To do this accurately, one would really need to have a whole timeline of Kane's character progression and justify each and every angle since October 1997. Quite the task.

He could take it off and be really ugly and burnt(with a big time makeup job) just once and then leave for a while and return with Evolution, with his face fixed.

Kane returns in two weeks as 4th piece of evolution...and wins the title back for goldberg to beat him and for HHH to go over... PERFECT!

The guy is always known as being intimidating, if nothing else it'll make an interesting month or two of feud with Fuck Goldberg. I want to see F.Goldberg get the Chokeslam From Hell (through the ring) anyway.

It was said the face paint will be under the mask Monday. this was according to Backstagewrestling.com. They are reliable. they haven't stirred me wrong yet
