Steve Corino Arrested

The Times Herald of Philadelphia reports that former

ECW star Steve Corino has been charged with forgery

and fraud after Pennsylvania State Police concluded

an investigation which started in 2001.

 

According to the report, Corino, allegedly forged a check

in his former roommate/victim's name in the amount of

$2,100 on June 11, 2001.  He reportedly obtained account

information and credit cards issued to the victim and

proceeded to make more than $10,000 in purchases

without the victim's knowledge.

 

Corino appeared before District Justice Benjamin Crahalla

Sunday and his bail was set at $10,000.  A preliminary

hearing has been scheduled for June 23.

Did he put that bail on his former roommate's credit card?

 

At least he didn't spend it on drugs (that we know of).
