Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted June 20, 2003 Two Face defeats Dr. Doom 10-7 Quite the upset, there... Upset? It's a goddamn catastrophe. How is Two-Face a more important character than Dr. Doom? *doesn't understand*

Excellent. The right man went over. 2. I don't like it... but I can live with it. Sabretooth is a bit one dimensional while Thanos is far more multi-layered. Too bad Thanos doesn't have the X-Men fanboys pulling for him. 3. Stupid. Catwoman's more of a hero now anyway, and her character was never that great. Loki is one of Marvel's best villains. 4. No argument. 5. AWESOME. Looks like the people hear realized that Two-Face's tragic nature and wonderful gimmick make him one of the best villains ever. If there is justice he should win this thing. 6. Stupid. Mystique is so lame. Riddler owns. 7. Preach on, brothers! 8. YES! Respect for Jack Kirby is ALWAYS cool! 9. Good call. 10. Best of a bad bracket. I hope Venom is given his walking papers next round. 11. What a suprise. The 90's X-Men villain beats the classic Batman one. 12. Agreed. 13. Bullseye is cooler. But Magneto is the better character, I grant you. I agree. 14. Good. 15. RIGHT ON! 16. Let's hope Ra's takes Sinister next round.

Good mixture of DC and Marvel villains in the next round though. I thought the Marvel villains were gonna sweep the entire tourney.

Good mixture of DC and Marvel villains in the next round though. I thought the Marvel villains were gonna sweep the entire tourney. The reasoning behind my opinion that Two-Face is better then Doom is simple. Doom is a very simple character to understand. Sure the "covering up his one scratch with a mask that scarred the rest of his face" was interesting. Other than that, he's just evil for the hell of it. On the other hand, Two-Face's twisted perversions of justice, fate, and his obsession with duality is not only psychologically fascinating (See: Arkham Asylum) but also allows a talented writer to craft masterful work. (Faces, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, A Lonely Place of Dying) Add to that, a truly tragic origin, and you have one hell of a villain.
