It would be a great idea.

Def Jam Vendetta sold huge so its obvious that well made video games will sell.

They should sign up AKI and have at it.

Imagine some of the insane moves they'd have in that game.

Yeah, but the ad campaign had ALOT to do with that game selling so well, not to mention it's license.

EA was backing it up as well..

I highly doubt a TNA game would even do half as good.

Exactly. TNA would basically sell to the wrestling fans like us who actually watch it, and a few outsiders who just like wrestling. DJ:V sold to kids who like wrestling games AND kids who like crappy rap artists. A NWA TNA game would not do very well at all I'm afraid, even though it would be very good promotion for the company for the kids that it could bring in.

The problem with trying to put a videogame together for an Indy-esque company is that a large part of the roster aren't on full time contracts so you'd have to license each of the non-contracted workers individually.

Which as was pointed out would be relatively simple since 99% of the indy guys would kill for that kind of self promotion.

Name recognition = more money and more work

I dont think its a TV announcement although that would be cool (unless as mentioned Xplosion becomes nationally syndicated which is a possibility, since having a weekly show AND PPV will be really redundant). Announcement of DVDs could also be a possibilty.

I'm talking more about the likes of XXX - all of whom are beyond "50 bucks for a little name recognition" at this stage of their careers.
