Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 The Split seems one sided as Vince has all the good wrestlers and Flair, well he has a pretty much shit roster will it affect you watching RAW? or wrestling in general?
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted March 28, 2002 I will still watch it. I will just more than likely do the same thing I always do when the main event sucks, but I enjoy the midcard, and that is "Turn off the tv when HHH, Taker, or the NWO does their thing." Luckily for me the roster has several guys who I really enjoy like RVD, Booker T, Heyman, Lesnar, Raven, Molly, and a few others like Dreamer, Richards, Bubba Ray Dudley, Big Show, Spike Dudley, & Crash who I could easily like, if given the proper push. So, really, I kind of look forward to Raw because, chances are, that RVD, Booker T and Lesnar will certainly be pushed, and it looks like Raven and Dreamer might be doing something as well. I figure Richards will do something considering how high he was drafted, so I am pretty optimistic about the whole Raw lineup. Sure, Hossmania will be running wild, but as long the Usual Suspects stay out of interrupting the midcard, then it should be quite enjoyable for me, as long as they do not do something stupid...like push Bossman. Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 It'll be worth watching for a while, just to see who else they bring in, who gets pushed etc. Booker and RVD will probably feud, which is a good thing.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 I agree,if they push the right guys on the RAW roster it could be great, this is pretty much an opportunity for the guys that came in from WCW/ECW to get a good chance, all the underused talent,I hope they use it correctly
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 A Kane/nWo feud dosn't seem like a very good start though.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 No,no it doesn't but if they could finish that up quickly we can move on,or hope the undercard outshines
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Once you get past the NWO and Undertaker as the top guys it's not a bad roster. Kane as a monster face sounds okay and apparently he's gold on Smackdown. Big Show can be fed to Brock, then put in a comedy role. The the Nwo + Bossman are the only one's who just flat out suck on the show and can't add anything to it.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Seriously, can anyone think why the Bossman is still on the roster? I know we hate a lot of people here on this board, but I can usually understand why the WWF keeps them around, even if I don't agree with it. But the Bossman? WHY?!
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Doesn't he have pictures of Vince fucking a Rottweiller?
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Thats the only thing I can think of of why hes still around,he has to have some good dirt that vince doesnt want out there
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Ah, that must be it. I wonder if Bossman will get any tv time...think of the great feuds he could have. *shudders*
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I know it was a joke but never ever say that again!
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Big show is on Raw. Maybe they could feud over the death of his mother this time.
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Heh Bossman in the Flock. He could feud with a returning Ed Leslie. Put him over and then Brother Bruti can get the IC belt off Raw to make up for not getting it when he had the parasailing accident. Come on with Hogan there you know it's a matter of time.
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 28, 2002 he could even get the belt off RVD. I'm just going under my desk for a sleep now.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 28, 2002 The only use I can think of for Bossy would be feeding him to Lesnar in a 10 second squash. Have a nice sleep.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Supposedly Bossman and Vince are good buddies. I will watch whatever the WWF puts on Monday and Thursday nights. I may not be happy, but I will watch.
Guest MARTYEWR Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Booker and RVD will probably feud, which is a good thing. About f*ckin' time! Didn't they have issues when they were in the Alliance, but the WWF never wanted these guys to have a feud because it would mean, *gasp*, that one or both of them would get heat??? Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 The only use I can think of for Bossy would be feeding him to Lesnar in a 10 second squash. you could use him to get sqaushed by everyone in 10 seconds, hey everyones gotta have an easy night
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Bossman should be a manager or bodyguard or something like that. Having him in the ring is just a bad idea.
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 28, 2002 They tried him out with Booker earlier this year or late last year. See how well it turned out? I've seen neither hide nor hair of him since. Maybe Bossman's the reason no one takes Booker seriously.
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Raw will be cool to some extent. I can sorta live with a Booker/RVD feud, even though Booker is 1/3 of the Bermuda Triangle of Heat (Test and Regal are the others). Where all heat goes to die and never be found! Ask Edge about that. But please, I'm begging you, no RVD/X Pac feud. Waltman outta be glad to be employed as it is. Ideally I want RVD/Lesnar once Lesnar gets a bit of experience. Can you imagine it if RVD busted that dude open? Look out Robbie!
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted March 28, 2002 They should feed smaller guys to the Big Show and Brock Lesnar for a few months, building them both up bigtime, and then have Lesnar beat the Show at a PPV to put himself over as the biggest, baddest big man in wrestling.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 Of course I will watch it. It just wouldn't be Monday without Raw on my TV.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted March 29, 2002 I would watch Raw if I could get it, but I only get Smackdown!... As for the Big Bossman, I enjoy him. He's great on Metal, and I've heard he's popular backstage.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted March 29, 2002 X-Pac vs. RVD could surprise you. These could might work very well together, and if they go and hotbox before the match, it could be ****. I like the Bossman too. He fits very well into a security/bodyguard role, especially if Vince is employing him.

That would be a wise way to use both guys. Unfortunately, they'll probably have it as a throw away match on Heat.
Guest justcoz Report post Posted March 29, 2002 I'd like to think that Raw's weak draft picks will lead to more new talent debuting and breaking in and the return of some familiar faces. I would still ideally like to see some sort of trade sending Tajiri, Hurricane, Benoit or Jericho to Raw. It's doubtful but I'd like to see it. Mostly because I'd like to see a Tajiri vs. RVD feud and Benoit and Booker T reliving their Nitro classics. Jericho just to add another main event level draw to the mix. Having surprise returns and debuts for Raw would keep interest up. Maybe seeing Rey Mysterio Jr. debut and then introducing a returning Eddie Guerrerro to feud with Rey Rey. Not to mention throwing in Chavo Guerrerro Jr. and possibly Juventud Guerrerro. That would definitely spice things up. Introducing Leviathan w/ Sinister Minister as his manager to challenge Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Maybe debuting Jamie Knoble and Shannon Moore as a tag team to feud with The Hardys? Bring in Sean O'Haire with Mike Sanders as his mouthpiece and manager. Have Ken Shamrock return to take out Rob Van Dam... It will be interesting to see what they have in store for Raven, Tommy Dreamer and Steve Richards. I'm one of the few who can see Bubba Ray Dudley getting over as an effective heel. Let him do his old crowd taunting that he did so well in ECW. I still like the idea of Gregory Helms appearing on Raw and appearing as The Hurricane on Smackdown. Somebody mentioned how he could be flown from show to show. Do you honestly believe all of these guys will be used week in and week out on each show? I'd like to see the NWO be used correctly and when I say this, I mean have them be entertaining on the mic and with their antics. They should essentially be there to torture Ric Flair and to not respect his authority. Disrupting the program constantly, taking over the announce positions. They should earn their money by adding entertainment value to Raw. Bringing in Eric Bischoff would be a great but extremely unlikely storyline twist. It would play well on tv though with the legit heat between him and Flair. Let's not forget guys like Kanyon, Bull Buchanon, Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, Ron Waterman, etc. Hopefully they will also get good use out of Mr. Perfect and Goldust. I'd revisit Goldust having a fascination with Scott Hall. That would be hysterical. I've said this before but by all means bring in the Quintesential Stud Muffin Joel Gertner as the ring announcer and comedy prop.

Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Hey, once Horace Hogan makes his debut, I am done with the show. Actually, with Austin supposedly returning and Flair leading the charge, I will probably continue to watch RAW but even with all of the talent on the shows, I have been so bored with the WWF as a whole that I don't view either show as must-see anymore. Even with all of the top talent on Smackdown, if the matches are only meaningless two minute fillers, what's the point of getting excited. When the WWF brings quality wrestling and a meaningful cruiser division to their shows, then I will be excited about the product.
