What the wwf should do with the wcw belt

I still haven't figured out why the WWF still using the old NWA/WCW championship belt? WCW doesn't exist anymore and the WWF buried WCW even more with the Alliance story. What I think the WWF should do it's just merge the WWF belt and the WCW belt into one brand new heavyweight title belt.What do you guys tink about this?

I think smackdown and raw should have there own belts smackdown taking the WCW,RAW taking WWF title,but your idea seems kick ass enough

Especially now since HHH doesn't seem to care about carrying around 2 belts with him.  At least Jericho put each belt over a different shoulder, while HHH just puts the WWF one on top of the WCW one.

Anyway, the WWF will probably just keep the 2 belts for a while, then they'll get tired of the "Undisputed" title, and just toss the WCW belt with no explanation.

Who knows maybe the titles will split again with Vince taking his wwf belt and Flair taking his big gold belt for the divisions down the line. There is long term storyline "new direction" with keeping both belts. Then unify the belts again in a few years when there isn't too much going on or ratings really slide or something. Of course the wwf doesn't look past one week, so what do I know.

I like the multiple belt setup right now. It makes the title look more prestigous if there is more then one belt with it. I wished that Tajiri would carry both the Cruiser and LHW belt with him as well.

Call me a stickler for tradition, but I always liked the "24 pounds of gold" NWA/WCW belt. It looks like a championship belt. I would be sorry to see it go...

He's actually defended the belt since's he's back.

 

As for the title, I'd have to say the big yellow one looks more prestigous. It's big, yellow, and it looks cool. with the each champion having a difrent name plate... As for keeping them both, I think they should.

Maybe since they have Hall and Nash under contract they can take the WCW title and slam dunk it in a trash can like they did with the T.V. belt.  Of course now that I said that they might actually do that since we all know they read this board ..heh.

They should keep the WCW belt and split it away from the WWF title.  Vince gets WWF and Flair WCW, it makes sense from a storyline context and if the split works, then a big unification match a Mania would draw IMO.  It would have a little bit more of a true unification match then Vengence did.  If they keep the entire rosters separate and put different style products on each show then they could pull it off.

I like Some Guy's idea.  Each brand needs to have it's own Heavyweight Champion.  Why not have to two champs face off in the main event at Wrestlemania next year?

If the wwf splits the titles they shouldn't do a unification any time soon. Give it a few years and the unification would be big. I still want to know what they are going to do with the ppv shows like Royal Rumble, Series, or KOR.
