Wal-Mart's having a Summer Blow Out Sale now and tons of DVDs are on sale for 4.88 - 6.88, and some of those 6.88 DVDs have three movies on them.

Picture quality, pan and scanning and no features aside, has anyone found or bought any hidden gems?

When it comes to these sorts of movies, I think the definition for "gem" will vary from person to person. Nevertheless, I've found some good titles in there and have heard of some titles being there, although I haven't seen them in my Wal-Mart's bin. I've picked up Jawbreaker and Drop Dead Gorgeous, but have heard of movies like Diner, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and some of the Spawn Animated Series episodes being out there. While the quality of movies is pretty sub-par, I'm convinced that there's at least one title out there in these things for everyone.

The other day I picked "Night Shift", the old Micheal Keaton, Henry Winkler flick out of the 5.88 rack. I saw thats about the only one that caught by eye.

BATMAN~! The 60's version.

I haven't seen it, although I've heard of other bins having it. Everytime I think of that price drop, I get angry since I shelled out 15 bucks just last summer to get it, only to see it drop that much in one year.

I picked up both the Rambo II and III SE's out of the bin as well for 5.88.

Batman Forever is in the 5.88

The rest of the Batmans are 7.88 I believe.

The only ones that my Walmart(s) have are "Celtic Pride", "The Long Walk Home", and an animated Ben Hur DVD.

My favorite DVD I ever got from the Wal-Mart cheap bin was the original Drunken Master (1978) for $4.88. Such a kick ass show.

I got a killer edition of Tigerland in the Bargain Bin at my Wal-Mart, and my mom got the Batman one

I had been looking for Tigerland, myself, although I hadn't seen it or even known a whole lot about it, but so many people were praising it, so I decided to give a look for it. Never found it at Wal-Mart, but I did find it at a garage sale this past weekend for 5 bucks, so it's all good.

I picked up Half a Loaf of Kung Fu out of the bin a couple of months ago, but haven't gotten around to watching it. A fool am I.
