BTW, Hart didn't have a match with Michales on Invasion 1992. He fought Ric Flair in a IC Title match.

But, IMO, is very very good, but WM X is a great Wrestling Match, while WM XIII is a gimmick match.

I dont get Why people say WMX over Cage Match...

 

The Cage Match had the entire drama and the family there was just a fucking beautiful match...

Mania 10 had more of a wrestling feel to it, as you can't really do much "technical" wrestling in a cage. Sure the drama was there at Summerslam 94 (and it's easily in the top ten for Bret's best matches), but I just enjoyed the wrestling match better.

 

And the finish at Mania was a total shock.

i'll always see the cage match as more dramatic, and the drama is ultimately the only thing that really matters in a wrestling match. the way they wrestled the cage match, you could tell that a lot more was at stake, they just tore into each other. especially in the little things, like crawling & clawing at each other like dogs to get out the door. and i like the ending better.

WMX KILLS the Summerslam cage match. Better work, better pacing, and a better finish. I hate escape cage matches because they lead to what we got in that match. A race to get out of the cage, with minutes used just hanging on the cage, and clawing at each other.

 

WMX had the cooler story going in. Owen trying to shed his image of the "little brother," while at the same time doing a perfect job of portraying an annoying, evil little bastard, all without getting any sympathy face heat.

 

He was percieved as a weak link, turned on his brother seemingly out of jealously, all the while saying it's the other way around, then PROVING it first thing going in at the biggest show of the year.

 

All that, only to still have Bret take the title home at the end of the show. They should've had a third high-profile PPV match, since they each won one.
