The only official "Heritage Jersey" that I own is the stick in a rink Canucks sweater. But I'm still most proud of my "hybrid" Islanders jersey (although I'm still looking for a dark Fisherman jersey).

 

Also, you should be able to find these cheaper on eBay, and just about any sports store in Canada (if you live in Canada, of course).

If I had the money, I'd invest in all the team sweaters for the teams that Bettman's helped kill, and put the word STOLEN instead of the player name, and the year that they left instead of the number.

 

Fuck Bettman ... the Jets had a cooler uniform than the Coyotes EVER will. The Whalers had a cooler uniform than the Hurricanes EVER will. And the Nordiques will have a cooler uniform than the Avalanche EVER will (*with the exception of their third sweater; that thing rules)

I think a Nordiques sweater with Sakic or Nolan would be dope. My only problem with it is that I can't see me wearing that shade of blue too often, so it might not get as much wear as some of the other potential purchases. (e.g. the Jets sweater, with either Selanne or Tkachuk on the back)

There's something strangely compelling about that powder blue. And I'd love to show up to a Hurricanes game with a "Stolen 97" Hartford sweater. If I lived in Raleigh. Oh well

On a semi-related note, I like how Nikita Koloff's singlet said not "USSR" but instead the correct Cyrillic form, "CCCP." Vince would never pay attention to detail like that. Unless he did with the Bolsheviks. But I wasn't watching then.

No problem I think, I got a Team Canada Shirt and a 1998 Team Canada poster. I don't think its bad especially since all of them play in the NHL.
