Is there footage of Hart/Flair match where Flair put Bret over along with the title? 3.) How did The Undertaker get the WM 13 Main Event spot?

He was in the ifnal 4 of the Rumble. Hogan and Sid were facing each other leaving Savage by default. Plus flair said Liz was his first. 2.) Is there footage of Hart/Flair match where Flair put Bret over along with the title? Yes on Smck'Em Whack'Em. 3.) How did The Undertaker get the WM 13 Main Event spot? Bret & Austin were facing each other so tehy gave it to Taker pretty much.
Guest JHawk Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 1.) Savage was thrown in when Hogan's match with Flair was "changed" to Hogan vs. Sid Justice, but for the life of me I don't remember if they explained it properly. The Flair-Liz angle was added after the match was announced.

Savage was thrown in when Hogan's match with Flair was "changed" to Hogan vs. Sid Justice, but for the life of me I don't remember if they explained it properly. The Flair-Liz angle was added after the match was announced. If memory serves me correctly, there was a press conference to name the number one contender to face Flair for the title at WrestleMania. Sid Justice, Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan were in attendance as candidates. Sid had a really smug look on his face, thinking he was going to be named the number one contender, until Jack Tunney announced Hogan as the number one contender. Sid is obviously pissed at the decision and vocally expresses it at the press conference. To patch things up, Sid and Hogan tagged the next week but Sid walked out on Hogan to cement their match at WrestleMania. Since Hogan relinquished his shot at Flair to go after Sid, it went to Savage by default. I think the whole Liz scandal was to add heat to the match, but don't quote me on that.

Guest HartFan86 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Mania 13 was actually suppose to be Bret vs. HBK in where Bret would regain the title (wasn't he suppose to break HBK's ankle as well?), so Taker was the last guy they expected in the main event at Mania.
