Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted June 26, 2003 Good review Bob, I have to disagree with you somewhat on your rating for Stryker vs Collyer, I haven't seen the match itself, but a match with "Some pretty good mat wrestling here but the match was lacking drama and excitement" doesn't nessicarily (sp?) make it bad, these two weren't out there to tell a story and both are well known for their good mat work. oh well to each his own I guess, I just finished reviewing the 1st Anniversary show and I'll put a link when it goes up. As far as Stryker and Collyer, I've never seen Collyer, but the crowd at ROH a few weeks ago didn't seem to take to Stryker and his "pure wrestling contest" with Chance Beckett too much (which is a shame, since I've heard great things about Beckett from the Super 8 and from his Canadian work). Good review although I thought you should've gone more into the riot. You basically just said: A RIOT BREAKS OUT and left it at that. Aside from that- good stuff.
