Just bought the Mania DVD for 20.00 @ Best Buy

What I've noticed from the Mania 19 DVD...

 

On the 3rd Degree, they changed the music for the "Rock Superstar" and "Freedom" video packages for Rock & Austin respectively. Obviously, this is so they don't have to pay the incentives.

 

Also, the Ashanti preformance is cut out at the beginning for incentive puproses as well, yet JR still mentions it later on in the night.

 

The John Cena rap isn't on which I find extremely gay.

 

After the Taker vs. A-Train/Big Show match followed by the Catfight girls meeting Torrie & Stacy, they edited out the talking backstage when showing outside of Safeco Field (you'd probably have to have the PPV version to understand what I mean).

 

During Shawn Michaels entrance, they edited out Jericho giving the finger to HBK (or was it a fan?).

 

They edited out the word "Shit" from basically everything, even in Durst's live performance.

 

Stacy Keibler's music is edited out on the English commentary, but is replaced by random production music on Spanish.

 

During the Hogan/Vince video package before their match, the girl saying "Hulk Hogan testified against his former boss" is not the girl from the original package on the PPV. Also after the video package, they go straight into Hogan's entrance (which I think was a sponsor plug on the PPV edition).

 

I'll post more as I observe it.

 

Also, does anyone know of any easter eggs?

Both of them suck, i really liked Cenas rap and it was a nice way to kick things off before the PPV started, it most definatltly should of been included as an extra. Maybe Vinnie didn't agree with what he said?

 

And it was Jericho most definatly, that was another thing i liked on the PPV cut out dammit. It was just something small that added to the begining of the match showing just how much he disliked Shawn. Stupid WWE

I think there was a Mania XX promo before Hogan-Vince. They kept the Goldberg Backlash one intact, though.

I saw Wrestlemania XIX on tape and I was dissappointed with it. My friend has it on DVD and I wasn't impressed with the extras. Maybe next year's will be better.

Yea- HEAT in Canada didn't show Cena's rap so I was upset that they cut it.

 

The DVD still kicks ass though

During Limpbizkit's performance of Rollin, they change some of the camera angles and include the "camera stage cam" that's right at the head of the stage that shows the wrestlers walking to the ring.

 

Also, take a listen to the Spanish commentary. You can hear them talking about Ashanti and "Snickers Cruncher" as well.

 

I dunno why, but I keep marking for Big Show/A-Train's entrance...I think because the fucking sweet mix of Big Show's pyro/steam.

It sucks how they edited out Jericho's middle finger but did not cut out Vince's.

 

I always thought the Cena rap would not make it to the DVD because it used likenesses of Jay-Z and Ludacris.

Shit man, you must be a real anal watcher of wrestling to notice things like changed camera angles or cut shots of the outside of the arena. Don't take that the wrong way or anything, but beyond blatant cutting of segments or different theme music, I wouldn't have noticed most of that stuff (a fan giving someone the finger for instance).

I actually had the PPV version and I was watching at the same time as the DVD version.

I believe he was just pointing out the things edited out of the original. Those are some big things, and I and many others may find it helpful to know exactly what isn't there instead of scrathcing our heads watching the DVD trying to remember something. You should not be flamebaiting like that when your statement is not justified. Its rather hypocritical of you to immediately start bitching about the thread when no one is saying that Wrestlemania itself sucked or every match sucked, but that they just get a bit bummed when some tidbits they personally enjoyed didn't make it on the DVD. Is that so bad? Posts like that help nothing, so can it.

Not at all. And I'm not complaing about it that much either, but then again, don't I have to the right since I actually went out and bought the DVD with my own money?

 

Considering I'm extremely into editing, I find it very intresting to see how they do the editing with the extra transitions and stuff.

 

You can only watch the DVD so many times without being bored with it and wanting to explore more things (like comparing the PPV broadcast to the edited broadcast).

Limp Bizkit's Crack Addict was censored on the curse words. The weird part was that they were also censored when I watching WM LIVE! o_O
