Guest Risk Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Why does McMahon call Hunter "Triple H", wouldn't it make more sense to call him by his full "name"? Why would he call him by his "nickname"? Also, what was the point of Angle threating to beat up the crowd? Michael Cole was a gimp as always. Why does Steph STILL have to be a focus of a 20 minute promo? I hate these McMahon feuds. I mean, Vince is the owner, he can fire whoever he wants. This makes no sense. Looks like the crowd is trying...poorly, to get behind HHH. Why is Flair ALWAYS on the faces side, no matter what? Flair called it the World title...bet he gets a paycut from McMahon. Two times mentioned, ouch. Maybe if HHH touches Flair hand enough he will get some of Flair's talent...no? Probably not. If the Undisputed title is the World title...WHAT THE FUCK DOES THE IC TITLE MEAN? Seems no one can provide an answer for this, but hey, that's not what the thread is about. Austin still mentioned as a free agent...hmmmm. Anyone else think DDP got the Diamond Cutter A LOT too soon? Plus, why does Booker have to get dominated by DDP? WHY!? Anyways...this isn't turning out so good.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 29, 2002 It's easier to call HHH "Triple H". I guess Angle threating to beat up the crowd was the sign for Vince to come out. Faces side with faces, heel sides with heels.
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Faces side with faces, heel sides with heels. One of the reasons why the WWF sucks. It is still a cartoon, a cartoon for teens and adults, but still a cartoon.
Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted March 29, 2002 I have a question: Why is the Women's and WOrld title allowed on both shows. Yet IC, Euro, Tag, and Hardcore are only on one show. And why are 3 of the 7 titles on RAW? Why not make the champs allowed on both shows since this way they can defend them against more than the same 4 people. And why are tag team split when they had a total of 5 teams? Who are they going to defend them against? How come they get a team heat if they are going to break them up, isn't like it is going to be needed? WHy is Jericho blamed for his title reign when he was booked as a loser, and Steph basicly killed the whole match. Why was Ric Flair even wrestling? He is god in all, but couldn't two others fued McMahon and Flair's spot? Or why not just Angle vs Trips?
Guest mastermind Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Triple H called the championship the world title on SmackDown before WrestleMania. I actually like the term world heavyweight champion as it sounds way more important. You know it might have to do with WWFE Champion not having a nice ring to it. I think the wwf is using the nwa philosophy with the straps. Have the world champion going from turf to turf defending the title only this time its show to show. Although I think the champ should stick with one show for a period of time and then switch making each turf relish their opportunity to face the "man". The women's championship the same thing. I also think the tag titles should float, but the division sucks big donkey nuts. I think each show should have their distinct championships too keep the exclusivity. I mean that would be missing as everyone would win the belts and be floating. Remember everyone basically on the rosters has won a title besides Lesnar I think. Having the world champion float means he can headline either house show. Well, someone brought up Jericho not actually doing something dastardly he did tonight on Lita. I guess the Hardys and Lita are fodder after Mania for one of the participants in the main event of Mania. Look at last year. Good sign Jericho is being treated in the same vien? Who knows? The I-C title sounds cool that's what it means in wwf vernacular. I do remember Savage calling it the intercontinental title of the world. As a young mark that sounded so special and "grand" to me.*lol* Yeah, the wwf writers need to use at least one of Russo's good ideas and that is the third dimension to characters. However, that means more work for character development and the writers sometimes lack in creativity as it is.
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Intercontinental is a cool sounding word BUT...World and Intercontinental cancel each other out. It is like having two titles mean the same but one is more important...
Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted March 29, 2002 And why are 3 of the 7 titles on RAW? Why not make the champs allowed on both shows since this way they can defend them against more than the same 4 people. There are eight titles. 4 of the exslusive ones are on raw, two are on smackdown. What does the intercontenental championship mean? According to Kurt Angle, North America. Chyna explains in her book. Guest mastermind Report post Posted March 29, 2002 I agree they cancel out, but reading Kurt's viewpoint he might have a point. Canada and USA are kind of like interstates and might be one making the former North American Heavyweight Title the "Inter" continent(s)al Heavyweight Title. Who the hell knows why Vince Senior created it. There is a similar champion in boxing defending this title on ppv soon as I seen it on the preview channel. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Well i don't get why the women's belt gets to float. Would've made better sense to float the world title and tag titles. All of the titles shouldn't float because if they did that the split would be meaningless. The world title and tag titles floating with the rest of the titles evenly divided would've been the best way of handling it.
Guest Report post Posted March 29, 2002 "Well i don't get why the women's belt gets to float." Guess you aren't feeling Jazzamania, brother. While the matches have gotten better since she got the belt (and I am an avowed Trish-mark) I have to agree. Although perhaps this will mean that Molly will get more ring time now, since (I think) she's on Smackdown!, while the other faces (Lita and Trish) are on Raw. "The world title and tag titles floating with the rest of the titles evenly divided would've been the best way of handling it." Sounds about right. Then again, do we really need Billy and Chuck twice a week? I would have been more behind this if Booker and Test or the Dudleyz had the belts. Then again, C & B are in the Honkey Tonk veign, so maybe going between shows and winning cheeply would have been better.
Guest Report post Posted March 29, 2002 >>>Looks like the crowd is trying...poorly, to get behind HHH.<<< Just admit that the guy is getting over again. I know you hate him, but face the facts. His pops were rivaling that of Hogan and Rock last night. Though I did feel sorry for Jericho. Perhaps it's a coincidence, but the first show without Steph associated with Jericho and his heat evaporates. Amazing, and HHH gains his heat back.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Well I'm aware of the big improvements that the women's matches have made since Jazz came out. But i just don't see why it needs to float unless Vince didn't want a bunch of women on one side or the other. Floating tag titles would make more sense seeing how there are a small number of teams. Also it will be harder for Raw(both shows need to) to try building some new teams without title shots.
