WWE Smackdown finished with a 3.4 rating and 6 share last night on UPN. That is up from last week's 3.2, but slightly less than the peak of 3.7 from a couple weeks ago. It should be noted that the show was pre-empted in Philadelphia.

That's a pretty alright rating for SD, right? I'm not surprised, since they hyped a match this week. Notice how hyped shows usually do better than those shows that are not hyped?

Like somebody else said, that isn't too bad considering Philly didn't get it.

 

The one thing that I sure have noticed (on Raw and SD!) lately is that they have hyped matches and angles for the following week's show more than they used to. And the ratings have stayed pretty steady too, probably because of it.

I think this is the worst put together tournament in the history of wrestling. I'm guessing here that all the WWE's concentration has gone to Vinnie Mac, Stephanie and Zack's soap opera and they have absolutely no idea at the moment what they're doing with the US tournament.
