I don't approve of A LOT of cultures. For example, I don't approve of some Middle Eastern cultures where it is acceptable to stone a woman for being raped. I find that disgusting and inhuman. The same goes for the way they torture and kill homosexuals. Come to think of it, the fundies in America would get along great with the fundies in the Middle East. Yeah. I saw a stoning the other day just down in Charleston. Poor girl never had a chance, as she ran from the bar where she had been violated only moments before. As she lay, bleeding in the street, the Red Cross worker was the first to throw a stone at her, followed by all the other missionaries, Christian doctors, and Christian shelter owners from the area. It was quite a sight to see. No . . . no, wait, that didn't happen at all. Because the Christian doctor would have tended her wounds, the Christian Shelter owner would have offered her a safe haven, and a nearby Christian cop would have investigated the scene and arrested those responsible. We don't congregate in groups and go looking for sinners to stone. I find a correlation between "Fundies" here and Middle Eastern barbarianism appalling. And before you go pointing your finger at those idiot abortion clinic bombers, remember that there are eco-terrorists, pirates, and flat out criminals operating all over the world that have nothing to do with religious institutions. They didn't threaten or kidnap anyone in the name of abstinence, they simply went to Vegas, where free tickets to strip joints can be won gambling, where flyers for bordellos are handed out, and passed out information on their views on sex. And no shit a Christian doctor would tend to someone. Most people here probably ARE Christian, or know and don't dissapprove of them. But FUNDIES are fucking wacko. Some people who believe in a strict way of living like that don't blow clinics up or get involved in politics. POLITICAL, and/or VIOLENT Religious Fundamentalists aren't good people. Which, everyone has their bad points and nobody is perfect, but lumping people who believe in a strict way of doing things who don't resort to playing politics or violent demonstrations is wrong.
