Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted June 29, 2003 So, umm, to anyone who's written in this, or anyone who reads this, tell us what you thought about it. I'd like to personally thank Zack for writing on hell of a feud ending match. I still believe it could have been done better, but for a couple of peeps on a IWC, we did pretty damn good. I have to give another shout-out to someone you don't normally expect me to praise, and that's Superstar. By far and above, his mask vs. mask match is the most unique we've ever had...Big ups for that. In general, I am happy with the show and the flow. The tag scramble aired early..sorry that you missed it, but the replay SHOULD be available by midnight tonight. As a closing note, as my full-timedness draws near to a close, I just wanted to say thanks. Props to all ~Stephen "Big Poppa" Popick
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted June 29, 2003 well...first.... Spiderpoet should be bowed down to... that was AWESOME~! I was so waiting for Joseph to win the Casket Match too...seeing as how you've thrown that out a few times BPP... ...and I want to see that TAG SCRAMBLE ********** - 10 stars or so~! Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Yeah, you forgot my match. Or did I not read the show well enough? I don't really care but Slacker might be upset.

Guest The Superstar Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Yeah. It should be cleared up that I am *VINCE* McMahon Mask, not Masked Man. MM was on vacation (which is why there hasn't been segments on IZ) and he needed me to write the match. Pressed for time, I decided to be unique. Of course, MM asked me to be Vince McMahon Mask long before CWM asked me to be The Blacker Scorpion so...things happen.

Guest caboose Report post Posted June 29, 2003 The matches were good to great and a lot of things were settled, hell even I won to keep my PPV streak going, but something I can't put my finger on made the show feel underwhelming...
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Brock vs. Crystal was probably my best OAOAST match to date, but I am still very disappointed in it, as I didn't get to start on it till late. Shame on me.
Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Don't be too dissapointed, it was awesome man. I really was into that match.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Ho. Lee. Sheee-it. I can't say that it was underwhelming, because that has got to be the most insane, most brutal thing that we've collectively done. SP's sagas continue to take insane twists and turns as he evolves with each passing event. Superstar revealed himself to be not one, but TWO evil gimmicks recently, The Dream Machines and T.E. put on a hell of a match, K Money put forth an AWESOME X Title defense...just, wow. Two Thumbs Up. Also, thanks BPP for the praise on the match. I knew a casket match couldn't be the technical masterpiece that I could have made our characters do, but that played well into the story. One man trying to retain and all costs, trying to survive. Another desperate for the final piece to his puzzle, attempting to gain. A true fight to the death. I'll take my BPP's extra crispy . Guest Kingpk Report post Posted June 29, 2003 Hey, can we call the Red Cross? There's enough blood soaked on the mat to keep them going for six months. I kind of skimmed a bit for my first reading, but what I saw is awesome. Damn that Crystal, she's taking too much after Edge by getting her shoulder destroyed in her match and then later moonsaulting off a ladder with no pain. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 I think it's safe to say that GAB has a legacy to live up to now, more than ever before. This year's effort was, in my mind, very close to AngleMania II. Great job on everyone's behalf, seriously. Zack, once again ye are the man.
Guest What? Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Great Fucking Show...Incredible. SP, that match...words can't even describe it. *****, man...that was my favorite match of the night. Zack/Joseph was awesome, too. VERY well done. I am so proud to be in the OAOAST. Both shows are incredible, and it just seems like everyone actually gives a damn. Good fucking Job, GREAT. FUCKING. SHOW.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Everyone has done a fabulous job for this show. The 3 stages of hell and the casket match really stood out as matches that were just classic. The show as a whole will be remembered as a classic and the 3 stages and casket matches will make this show immortal. Again, excellent effort by everyone and on par with AngleMania II. Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted June 30, 2003 sd, i dont know if i got your match? when did you pm it and yes...sp deserves a bow or two...wow... the great benefit of producing is that i see everything before most anyone else...and wow...we sure set one hell of a high bar. and even though i did lose, stephen joseph still has a story yet to be told, and for all to fear, because he is still on both shows what happens to the man whose beliefs, for the second time, this time in the dark, are shattered? Guest Tony149 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Excellent effort by all. GAB 2002 was the OAOAST's best show till AM II took that honor earlier this year. Hell, GAB 2k2 won the Angle Award for best PPV last year. I believe Bloody, Battered & Beaten won that award at the second AAs. But GAB 2003 lived up to last year's amazing effort. We've been very lucky that our Elite 4 shows (AnglePalooza, AM, GAB, AS) have been excellent. I'm not very fond of AS 2002 because I was busy doing something else and it caused me to ignore the show -- and it showed. Now when I can't put my total attention to the show I let somebody else do it. Which BPP has done the last two months. So a shout out to BPP for running the PPVs when I couldn't. I still believe we should of held off the opening tag match for IZ or next month's PPV License to Pin, (don't like editing stuff in or out of the show) but BPP will edit it in whenever he receives the match. The match graphics used were well done. Especially the Ed/SP graphic. Very cool. I can't wait to return to the "director's chair" next month for License to Pin. We're going to have fun with that one. LTP will be on July 27th.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted June 30, 2003 I really really liked the caboose/Hex match (best ending to a match ever...there's been a lot bloodier matches, but the sheer brutality in that one moment is just on another level, if for no other reason because caboose sacrificed himself in the most literal sense [in real life he's be pushing up daisies] to put away Hex), the SP/Ed match (biased? I think not, as I had no part in writing it...but again, SP put me over like a champ...it more or less turned into just another TDK saga extension near the end, but it's not like I'm doing anything worthy of being the focus of attention anyway, and the TDK stuff just gets more and more extraordinary every time, especially with the comic book crossover allusions...plus the visual of stringing up a "web" of barbed wire is awesome), and Zack/BPP (although I didn't like it as much as the other two, I was still very pleased with it). Oh, and PRL finally lost that stupid Puerto Rico belt. I hate that guy. I'm going to try and help ZACK ATTACK~! fix his computer...I don't know what's wrong with it, but hopefully I can get him up and running in time for his unique commentary to still be relevant. Worse comes to worse I'll just post an archives a la HotNewzWIRE~! EDIT: Oh yea, did Sandman not get in his Jacob X match? He's one of my favorite match writers (and a swell guy to boot, despite not really interacting with him off the board), and I'm glad to have him around at all (hearing he'd be back, even on a limited PPV basis, made me so happy)...but I really would've liked to see that match happen. Hopefully he's not burned out or anything and he got it done and it'll be edited in later. After all, it'd be nice to have at least 2/3 of a major storyline stable actually be active. As is, it's...1/3? Hopefully I can get my ass in gear this summer and fix that, but it seems I'm all out of ideas. I thought I only burned myself out for a short break, but maybe I'm gone for good? I hope not.
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted June 30, 2003 BPP, you forgot to put my name in the end credits. I wrote the Ladder Match by myself. The show was great. I am shocked and amazed at how great these shows are considering that we're only wrestling fans with computers. Props to all. The show was great and is in 2nd place behind AngleMania II. Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Major credit to MJB. That was an AWESOME ladder match. I'd like to apologize to KK, Rando, job and Sonic for dropping the ball on the scramble. I used my mod powers to insert it in late (right before Crystal/Brock), so you can take a look at it if you want. I know it's not my best work, and again I'm sorry. Major congrats to everyone else though, it was BY FAR one of the best OAOAST PPVs ever, and I've read a good chunk of them.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 I knew I would be out late tonight so I read most of it in GCF and I must say it was awesome. I try to write my matches the best I can, but I always know there will be awesome matches that will just put mine to shame. What did ya'll think of the F13 title match that I wrote? The plot has thickened on the Blurricane saga and it will only get weirder.......I mean better.
Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted June 30, 2003 We'll after a couple of reads, I must say............. Fuckin' Awesome. The card looked stacked before the ppv and it delivered. Like I said earlier, I enjoyed Crystal vs. Brock. Personal preferences, characters or whatever, it just seemed visually appealing to me.
