I'd be highly suprised if Arona subbed Jackson at all, much less with anything other than a kneebar (the only sub he's finished in the past 4 years in competition, it seems).

I respect Arona for his wins but fuck he could sure ruin this tournement if he wins it. It will be three whole fights where he takes the other person down then lies on them 'controlling them' with a punch every few minutes and maybe just maybe one submssion attempt in each fight. Then getting the judges decision.

 

 

Compere this to Silva, Jackson, Sakuraba, Liddell etc who finish almost everyone of their fights in style. Winning and putting on a show. Hell even Yoshida has finished his two fights however questonable those two may have been.

 

 

I don't hate the guy and he seems like a good sort in interviews but Arona would be a terrible draw for pride if he was to win this or the belt.
