I've never picked up a comic book based on a proffesional wrestler before (didn't want to waste my money :P ). I know that thier has been books based on Mick Foley (Mankind), the Undertaker, Chyna (I think), RVD, and Steve Austin (I think). To those that may have bought one of these wrestling comics what did you think of them? were they great, average, or plain crap?

You forgot the Ultimate Warrior comic, drawn by Warrior himself. So bad, it wound up in Wrestlecrap.

I was just about to put that one in thier too. I've heard of that book's notoriety of sucking!!! I didn't know he was also the artist though.

He wasn't. He either wrote or supplied the plot.

(edit)based on the pic below I assume that the artist was Jim Callahan...

Don't forget those lame WCW comics, too. I still get chuckles from watching Lex Luger beat almost everybody in the damn company with a belt shot...

Those were comics? I was certain I saw that every week when Luger was TV champ...

I have the first Warrior comic, it's really terrible if only for the facts that Warrior is a Christ-like figure and it makes no fucking sense.

I bought an Undertaker issue at a comic con a couple years back. It had Kane and Paul Bearer in it. It was about $2, and good for the cheesiness factor. :)
