Guest notJames Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Does anyone know if the new Snatch Superbit Edition DVD has all the same special features as the previous Special Edition? I was under the assumption that most if not all Superbit DVDs had less features on the discs to accomodate for the better sound/picture quality. I personally would pick the extras over that myself. So, I'm in a bit of quandary as far as which one to get, especially since most stores are now stocking the shelves with the Superbit version instead of the SE. Can anyone help a brother out?
Guest Razor Roman Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Special Edition SuperBit Edition It looks like the SuperBit might be 2 discs.... I'm not interested in the movie to be honest :-) But I'ld probably just buy the Superbit version for the better picture.
Guest razazteca Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Unless you have HDTV why bother with Superbit?
Guest Karnage Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 The Superbit one lacks the commentary. And it won't make a big difference in the audio and video unless you have an HDTV.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Amazon doesn't list any extras for the Superbit version. It's probably just lack of information on Amazon's part. Even if the Superbit does have extras, the SE would likely still be better and with more extras. Superbit is useless, unless you have a top of the line home entertainment system.
Guest Nevermortal Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 I've got the Superbit. Basically, its a modified Disc 1 with the Superbit menus. Disc 2 is from the Special Edition (I know because I rented the SE).

I'm especially concerned with commentary, the Pikey subtitles, and the Easter Eggs. Like I said before, I'm not overly picky about the picture and sound quality. ::damns self for not having bought the SE sooner::
