Guest starvenger Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Not the greatest show ever, but it helps to fill the void left behind when there's only baseball on TV. Here's the website If you're not familiar with the show it's a reality show/race where two teams of 4 go from Miami to Mt. Rushmore trying to complete various sports-related tasks (the task list is here). The catch is that the only thing they have are their IDs and the clothes they're wearing. Anyways, I figured that somebody else here might watch it, if only to see how they weasel their way into doing tasks while handling no money at all. Anyone? (sees tumbleweeds roll across the screen) Oh well...
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 If they can find a team that is as hilariously entertaining as last year's Team Contact, then I'm there~!
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Well its a reality show on a sports channel so it does belong in tv section. I tend to stay away from shows like this unless there is a crazy character like Gary Busey or Anna Nichol. So if they get somebody like Warren Sapp in a flag football game or something I might watch it.

Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Jeez, I was just putting in my two cents regarding my show. Now I'm taking them back out of the tip jar...
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted July 5, 2003 Here's my problem with this show: Since each team has an ESPN camera crew with them, it's a lot easier for them to get the athletes to agree to help them out than it would be if they were just by themselves. Most athletes would be a lot more friendly to a group from ESPN than just six random people who didn't have a cameraman with them. If anything, the athletes doesn't want to look like a stuck-up beeyotch on TV, so they'll go along with it.

Besides which, based on the last season, the issue isn't getting the players to agree to anything, it's stadium management et al., who really don't seem to give a crap about shows and cameras and such. Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 7, 2003 Wouldn't the fact that there is a camera behind it give away it's a tv show of some sort though? Networks gotta figure out how to get rid of that...
