Guest BobbyWhioux Report post Posted July 4, 2003 The most lopsided game I ever witnessed live would be from early in the 1994 season, when the Eagles pounded the 49ers in week 5, 40-8. [i think it was on my birthday, too; thanks guys]. I mean, The Eagles were up 23-0 in a flash, and Young got pulled out early. Even the fights in the crowd went Eagles fans' way (and surprisingly, there were more of them than there were during the 49ers / Raiders game) I still remember it kinda fondly, however, because it sorta served to wake the 49ers up and piss them off, and they didn't lose again that year* and ended up hanging that lopsided ass kicking on the Chargers, 49-26. [* = with homefield advantage locked up a week before, they treated the regular season finale agains the Vikings like a preseason game, rested all the startes and played their scrubs. 21-7 Vikings.] Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
