Guest Goodear Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 I don't know about that scale... I would put Kane in the INFRARED "I got booked into the dumbest freaking angles on the face of the earth" burial.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 The HHH Effect: For all wrestlers whom face HHH and experience a severe drop in card status directly afterwards. See Jericho, Chris. Red Jericho (HHH completely buries) Steiner ----------- Orange RVD (HHH buries, but not so badly... as in, he doesn't go out of his way to bury like he does with Jericho and Steiner) Bubba ----------- Yellow Kane (HHH buries, but will give a hollow, ultimately meaningless, "job" to to "get their heat back") Angle Booker ----------- Blue HBK (Are still protected even after losing ) Nash ----------- Green Rock (Losing to HHH does not effect them, but they get verbally buried by HHH because HHH is insecure) Austin ----------- White Taker (HHH puts over) Gee, now we have to wonder about whether or not Triple H had anything to do with Taker moving to SD!. Oh he definitely did have something to do with Taker going to Smackdown. I mean, Hunter can't lose his heat, now can he? And RRR you forgot to put back Mick Foley on the list. Sure, he's gone doing his book tour but he should be back in plenty of time to put him over once again. Although I believe Mick Foley should be in White, as HHH has never been able to kill off Foley in anyway.
Guest JMA Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 Why is a heel changing the rules so a face can stay in a match that is essentially over? Heels and faces should be more loosely defined roles. They shouldn't be simple black and white. Anyway, the reason Bischoff's character did it was for ratings. Having a match end via DQ pisses fans off. He also wanted to prove he is a better GM than Austin. I hope this clears things up.
Guest The Hamburglar Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 Ah, but where does Triple H himself go on that chart? Think about these following scenarios: 1) Doggy poo lead-up to Wrestlemania. 2) Quite staggeringly homosexual posing and arm-wrestling. 3) Humping a mannequin meant to be a corpse. What's the one constant in all of these scenarios? Yes, its Triple H managing to make himself look like an utter tosser on TV. Furthermore, in the space of two years Triple H managed to turn himself from a highly-rated, heavily successful heel champion to a pitiful copy of Ric Flair who holds a worthless title on a show with plummeting ratings. So yeah, I think ole Trips is a definite orange, possibly even a Red.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 HHH doesn't feud with HHH - The HHH Effect only applies to those with whom HHH has feuded with. Foley is a tough one. Kane still got to beat HHH in the casket match which "finished" their feud. Kinda like how Angle beat HHH on the Raw following Unforgiven 00 IIRC and how Booker got a pin in a tag match on Raw after WM.
