Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted July 1, 2003 This week's edition of Raw did a 3.6 cable rating, with a six share. That is down from last week's 3.9 rating. The show did hours of 3.3 and 3.8. The show peaked with a 4.2 rating for the overrun. 1wrestling
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Kane gets 5.0...RVD gets 4.2 Damn.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Yeah, but most people knew Kane would unmask because HHH never loses plus it was hyped a week in advance. Everyone knew RVD had no chance of winning and there was no hook like an unmasking to draw them in.

Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Vince: We need Sting! Gerwitz: We need HHH! Goldberg: We need more of ME! Hogan: I need a contract! Austin: I need some Pepto Bismol! Shawn: I need a shorter schedule! Nash: I agree with him! Kane: I need a new gimmick! Hurricane: I need direction! RVD: I need a light!
Guest Super Pissed Smark Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Next week's RAW main: Kane vs. RVD. If Kane loses, the rest of his outift comes off. And he does a little dance. If RVD loses, he has to share his stash with everyone at ringside. Ratings and ticket sales!
Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted July 2, 2003 HHH will use this as ammunition for his argument that he needs to be all over Raw. He was only on the last 2 segments last night (the world title match).
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 It should have been lower. It was nothing but a 2 hour filler. It had no direction. I really can't believe it got that good of a rating.
Guest Nanks Report post Posted July 2, 2003 They should be fucking overjoyed with that rating. I haven't been able to see RAW for a few months because I only have cable at my holiday house and I thought I was missing out on something. That was the single two worst hours of TV I have watched in some time. Not a single redeeming feature.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted July 2, 2003 The show was all about wrestling and not about Sports Entertainment. This edition of Raw had what 8 matches with maybe 3 were watchable and of those 3 matches they all were interrupted in midmatch by THE BABY commercial. I don't know about you but when I am watching a half way decent match with wrestlers that I have interest in I do not want it to be interrupted by a commercial. I feel like I will miss something cool like a big spot or something, after all the show is live. Now why do they have the commercial breaks in the middle of the title matches? Is the revenue they gain for that commercial spot worth the risk of losing viewers in the long run? If the ratings go down the revenue for commercials go down right? If they need to put commercials during matches why not do it during filler matches that I could care less about like a Maven or Randy Orton or Test match instead of the IC title defense or world title defense. Guest JHawk Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I actually became less pissed off at mid-match commercial when I went to a live WCW Thunder in 1998 and not only didn't get one match topping five minutes, but didn't even get a dark match while being forced to sit through dead air during breaks. I just tell myself "they're giving something extra to the live crowd" and I don't worry about it. My main concern is why they never take a mid-interview commercial break when somebody's repeating the same thing over and over again (I'm looking at you, Hunter!). Guest jericho585 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 WWE repeats the highlights of the same segments over and over again, so what is wrong with HHH reiterating the same points over and over again?

Jericho has been victim to the rare commercial Mid Interview... in each company...
Guest IV:XX Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Just like a thought, another shitty RAW. I actually watched a tape of it yesterday so I could write a review for another site. But my eyes were hurt after sitting through that crap.
