Guest justsoyouknow Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Well, kids, I'm going camping in a couple weeks with about 9 of my buddies, and we're going to be bringing along a stereo that runs on batteries...the question is: What is YOUR soundtrack for life in the great outdoors? Keep in mind that we'll be plastered the whole time.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Clutch, Clutch, and more Clutch. They even have a song called "The Great Outdoors." Fucking awesome stuff to just sit around and drink to with comrades. Really laid back, simple driving beats and bluesy riffs that are catchy as hell. The vocals are totally unique, with lyrics that are pretty goofy, but good.

Guest kingkamala Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I wouldn't listen to very loud music, it kind of keeps you distracted from the great outdoors. I don't know what I would recommend myself, I don't usually listen to music when I'm camping.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I wouldn't listen to very loud music, it kind of keeps you distracted from the great outdoors. I don't know what I would recommend myself, I don't usually listen to music when I'm camping. Read his post again...they clearly aren't interested in being one with nature on this trip. It's a "lets' get fucked up and act stupid" camping trip so loud music is alright. By the way I have no problem with "let's get fucked up and act stupid" camping trips, I've been on many of those. If y'all planning on partying, I hope you guys picked a good park to go to and not a park with a quiet after 10 pm rule. I've been on a trip like this at a park with a quiet after 10 pm rule. We were on the verge of getting kicked out if we didn't finally go to bed after the third visit from a Ranger at like 1 am.
