Guest nl5xsk1 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I was thinking how sweet it would have been if Curt Hennig had gone to the NWA instead of the WWF, when he first left the AWA. Yes, it would have meant that he wouldn't have been Mr Perfect, but the matches he could have had with Flair, Funk, Steamboat, Muta, Windham, etc. would have OWNED. I also would have loved to see the original Freebirds in the NWA: feuds with the Road Warriors, Rock n Roll Express, Russians, etc. Does anyone else have any "wishes" of what could have happened? Dynamite was two years younger than Bret. I wish Johnny Smith could've feuded with Benoit in All Japan and Smith was put in the main events of All Japan in their heyday. I wish that Vinnie Mac would've stepped down from the WWE and let Bret Hart completely take over everything. I wish that there wasn't so much restrictions on today's crop of WWE superstars. I think they could made a cool mix. But you said "happened", so you mean in the past. I wish Bret and Vince made the deal in peace, that way Bret could be in Raw post SurSer 97 and pray his Good bye speach, give up the belt to Vince. And probably take the Bulldog AND Owen with him.
