Quick question - what was that creature crawling around? I'm assuming it's like some kind of "gremiln", whose function is to "cause" accidents (i.e. the train). Was this mentioned at all in the portion I missed? I doubt it, since the girl seemed to have no idea what it was.

It's suppose to cause the deaths of the people the Reapers collect souls from. The old guy, Rube, told her about them after the piano fell on the first women.
