JasonX Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 The following was taken from "The Worst Forum Ever" on Delphi: CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will once again give viewers the chance to catch up on one of the longest days in Jack Bauer's life. The studio announced over the weekend it is set to release "24: The Complete Second Season" on DVD on September 23, just in time for its third season debut the following month. And unlike its first season release, the seven-disc set will feature a large assortment of extras. Among them are 44 deleted scenes, episode commentaries from the cast and crew, two "making of" featurettes and alternate endings. The producers credit a six-month lead time to create the set as a reason for the plentiful extras. The previous season was rushed together in order to hit store shelves in time for its second season bow. The set will again feature all 24 episodes in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 2.0 Surround with an MSRP of $69. Spoiler Space for Season 3 Spoilers . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Season 3 is starting 2-2 1/2 years after the end of Season 2. Penny Johnson and the woman who played Kate have not signed on as regulars but should be appearing. Also, expect the back of the DVD package to contain another, as of yet to be revealed spoiler about Season 3 and it's plot.
Guest El Gigante Posted July 2, 2003 Report Posted July 2, 2003 Rock on! Can't wait for this to come out.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 *faints* WOOOOOOOOOOO!! This is going to be hella better than the Season 1 DVD.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 7 Discs? Widescreen format? A ton of extras? Season 3 Spoilers? Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn. Im not so sure what the ending of season 2 and season 3 starting 2 1/2 years later have in common, so it should be interesting to see how they pull that off.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 I don't know how they're going to bridge the gap either. I'm guessing Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Palmer's dead
Guest Ronixis Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 They gonna pull a Raiden on us... Producers are also going to be giving Bauer a new partner by the name of Chase Exen. Slated to be a series regular, he is in his late 20s or early 30s. A field ops agent for CTU, he is described as a "charismatic, physical and straight-ahead guy. Teh Bishie clause is in effect... Dangit why did they kill that Arab guy? He would have been a good partner.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 A partner?! WTF!! The only partner Jack needs is his gun. Maybe they'll kill the partner.

Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 And for those of us that have avoided that overrated (even by Metal Gear fans) game?
