Guest Zoltan Report post Posted March 29, 2002 This is a good card with great potential. I will add my results and star ratings: King Of The Ring, Semi-Finals: Booker T vs Christian: match: A good match with great pace. The ending is when Booker spins out of the UnPrettier and hits an axekick for the win at 9:54 and Christian throws a tantrum after the match rating:*** Lance Storm vs Kidman match: Starts with Kidman dominating the beginning of the match and then Storm regains control and tries to ground Kidman with various submission holds and Kidman makes a comeback and the last 4 minutes of the match is very high paced with high spots and Kidman misses the shooting star press and Storm locks in the Maple Leaf and kidman taps at 14:37 and both men shake hands after the match to a huge pop rating:**** WWF Tag Team Championship: The Hardy Boyz© Vs. The Dudleys match: Another basic Dud's/Hardyz's match with the Duds winning when Lita turns on the Hardyz to join the Duds by pushing Jeff off the top as he goes for the swanton and then hurripanranas Matt and then as Jeff gets back into the ring he is 3D'ed for the pin at 15:22 as Lita and the Duds raise their hands in victory over the 2 Hardyz to a chorus of boos rating:***1/2 WWF Intercontinetal Championship: Rob Van Dam© Vs. X-Pac match:A quick high paced match with RVD eventually pinning X-Pac with the ***** frog splash at 12:44 rating:***1/4 Chris Benoit's Return Match!: Chris Benoit Vs. Chris Jericho match:Before the match Jericho gets on the mike and rambles about how he is going to cripple Benoit and send him into retirement. Then Benoit's music hits to the biggest pop of the night. Benoit and Jericho have their usally unbelivable match but factoring in the amazing crowd heat this match is fantastic. The ending is when Benoit is in the Walls of Jericho but makes it to the ropes after 40 seconds in the hold and after Jericho misses the Lionsault Benoit puts Jericho in the crippler crossface and Jericho taps at 29:54 to a huge pop. And after the match Benoit states that no matter who wins tonight between SCSA/HHH, he will become the Undisputed champion. And he leaves to huge cheers from the crowd. rating:****3/4 King Of The Ring Finals: Booker T vs Lance Storm match:Storm works on Book's leg throughout the match with Book trying to mount a comeback, but he misses the axekick and Storm puts him in the sharpshooter and Book passes out at 18:43 to win Storm the King of the Ring. rating:***1/2 The Rock & Hulk Hogan Vs. The Outsiders match:Rock and Hall work most of the match and the end comes when X-pac comes out to interfere but he is denied but then HBK comes out and attacks X-pac to a monster pop and while Nash is distracted looking at X-pc and HBK he turns into a rockbottom and then the Hogan leg drop and Hogan pins him at 17:55 post match Hogan, Rock, and HBK celebrate in the ring rating: **1/2 WWF Undisputed Championship: Triple H© Vs. Steve Austin match:A typical HHH/SCSA match until Benoit comes out and decks the ref and gives SCSA 5 german suplexs and then gives HHH a top rope headbutt and stands over both men with J.R. shouting, " The Crippler has returned, my God the crippler has returned". rating:match is thrown out at 22:55 for the match: ***1/2 but for Benoit too it's **** Feedback is wanted. Guest Zoltan Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I wouldn't like HHH/Benoit at summerslam because you have SCSA and HHH/Benoit will be at Survior Series. So I would throw maybe Austin in and make something that definetly won't happen, I'd put the 3 in a round robin tournament. That would rule because look at the matches you have: Austin vs Benoit Benoit vs HHH HHH vs Austin all would be at around **** so I'll rate this: Austin vs Benoit match: Benoit is working over Austin in a metodiacal pace, using his trademark moves and while Austin turns the tide 6 minutes into it and then controls most of the remaining time of the match until Benoit makes a comeback but misses the top rope headbutt then Austin hits the stunner to pin him at 19:44 rating:****1/4 HHH vs Benoit match: A technaical back and forth match with slow and progressing spots as Benoit works on HHH's leg and HHH works on Benoit neck. HHH's pedigree attempt is contered by Benoit and then Benoit hits the top rope headbutt to pin HHH at 18:59 rating:****1/4 HHH vs Austin match: A bloody and wild brawl ends with HHH hot shotting Austin and then pedigreeing him at 17:11 rating:**** all wrestlers have 1 win so Flair comes out and tells the crowd that they will have 1 more match and the winner of it will be the Undisputed WWF champion. The match is a thriple threat match with HHH, Benoit, and SCSA 3-way dance: HHH vs Benoit vs SCSA match: Benoit and SCSA team up on HHH and then turn on each other when they don't know who should pin him and after each man counters the others finishers they brawl outside the ring and HHH is rammed head first into the ringpost, being knocked out. SCSA and Benoit go back into the ring and continue the match without HHH and the stunner is reversed by Benoit into a dragon screw leg whip and then applys the crippler crossface but Austin doesn't give up, he passes out and Benoit is declared the victor and new champ as a drowsy HHH looks on in disbelief at 38:54 rating:****3/4 the reason I have Benoit pin austin is because HHH never got pinned so this sets up a fued with HHH and Benoit with a blow off at Survior Series. Sorry for any spelling errors because I'm in a rush. Any feedback is appreciated on this card.
