This World Title feud is giving me a headache

I think the main argument about a comedic Angle/Lesnar... relationship... is that Angle's return was hyped BIG. Angle was portrayed as the guy who had the most amazing recovery in the business and he was GLAD to be back.

 

At the actual return of Angle he received arguably the biggest POP in recent history. He played the crowd, they loved him, they went along with him. They did the "You Sucks" and the "What?s" and they lapped up everything he threw at them. Angle was the biggest FACE in Smackdown!

 

He didn't relent. That angle with Big Show reminded the audience that Angle was a major contender. He wasn't afraid of Show, he never was! Not when Heyman tried to make them work together, and not now. Then when Brock came in, and Angle gave the rub to the Champion, shook his hand, thanked him for his support, this was an alliance! A team formed on mutual respect!

 

Angle came back big. He came back strong. He came back OVER.

 

And that is why the skits feel so... insignificant. The storyline is there. The seeds have been sown, but now... the feud will drag, because everyone knows it's going to last till Mania XX. And when the creative team runs out of ideas (ALREADY) it's going to be the longest and most uninteresting build-up in the history of the WWE Main Event.

Look I dont reply much but I feel this time I should. I thought those skits were actually quite funny. I liked the way Angle used his intelligence to make Lesnar do the push ups and then just walk saying "You win". To me they are showing that while Brock has the brute force Angle has the brains. Overall I thought Smackdown was good just about throughout. The segments did there job for me. It does seem as though there are a lot of people who wouldnt agree with me but just to let people know that some fans did find them funny and put over the two wrestlers. Just my thought.

I am much more worried for Lesnar than Kurt. Kurt is still basically playing the same character he always has (super-talented but a nerd).
