Guest The Voices In Your Head Report post Posted July 7, 2003 I might as well give this a try: AFC East 1. New England 2. Miami 3. Buffalo 4. N.Y. Jets AFC North 1. Pittsburgh 2. Baltimore 3. Cleveland 4. Cincinnati AFC South 1. Tennessee 2. Indianapolis 3. Jacksonville 4. Houston AFC West 1. Kansas City 2. Oakland 3. San Diego 4. Denver [i really have no clue on the AFC East & West, which I think are going to be just as close this year as they were last year] AFC Wild Cards: Indianapolis, Miami [if Wannstedt doesn't make the playoffs, I'm guessing he will be fired] NFC East 1. N.Y. Giants 2. Philadelphia 3. Washington 4. Dallas NFC North 1. Green Bay 2. Minnesota 3. Detroit 4. Chicago [despite being a hardcore Packer fan, I don't think they have the defense to go far this year, but I think they will still win the North because the other teams in this division, particularly Minnesota, are another year away from contending for the division title. I'm really interested in seeing how Steve Mariucci handles the Lions in his first year there.] NFC South 1. Tampa Bay 2. Atlanta 3. Carolina 4. New Orleans NFC West 1. Seattle 2. St. Louis 3. San Francisco 4. Arizona NFC Wild Cards: Atlanta, Philadelphia AFC Wild Card Playoffs: Pittsburgh over Miami, Indianapolis over Kansas City AFC Divisional Playoffs: Tennessee over Indianapolis, New England over Pittsburgh AFC Championship: Tennessee over New England NFC Wild Card Playoffs: Atlanta over Green Bay, Philadelphia over Seattle NFC Divisional Playoffs: N.Y. Giants over Atlanta, Philadelphia over Tampa Bay NFC Championship: N.Y. Giants over Philadelphia Super Bowl XXXVIII: N.Y. Giants over Tennessee I'm guessing my picks will probably change again if another predictions thread pops up in August.
Guest nl5xsk1 Report post Posted July 7, 2003 AFC East Winner: New England AFC North Winner: Cleveland AFC South Winner: Indianapolis AFC West Winner: Oakland AFC Wild Cards: Baltimore & Tennessee (East and West teams beat each other up too much to earn Wild Card spots. Wannstedt gets fired for not making the playoffs again. AFC Champ: New England (call me biased, but I think if their offense improves they have as good a chance as anyone) NFC East Winner: Philly NFC North Winner: Green Bay NFC South Winner: Tampa Bay NFC West Winner: St Louis NFC Wild Cards: NYG & Atlanta (damn, the NFC seems just so full of shitty teams now. I had a hard time finding two that I thought deserved to be the Wild Card teams) NFC Champ: Philadelphia Super Bowl Champ: The homer in me makes me say Patriots.
