Guest HBK16 Report post Posted July 5, 2003 I just finished the movie. I ihear of it but never thought of seeing it. Me and my friends were out and it came up. They all thought it was great so I went out and bought it a few hours ago. I watched it and thought it was a great movie. I have a thing for gangster movies but that one was one of the best ones. Every time I pass the church (I forget the name right now) my dad says "Thats where they filmed Bronx Tale." Yep, and my acting coach was an extra in it. He likes to brag about it. Loser. Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted July 5, 2003 I had this movie ruined for me. I had it recommended to me by several friends saying it was "on par" with Goodfellas and the Godfather. I use the lesson taught in this film and apply it to my life (about the guy who owes the character money and flees from him all the time -- the gangster then tells the main character that for $10 he rid himself of that pest)... Guest What? Report post Posted July 7, 2003 Taxi Driver is one of - if not the SINGLE - best movies I have ever seen. De Niro is everyone's god. Deer Hunter, I felt, was too slow in the beginning, but then it picked up. The first hour was just them tooling about town and preparing for the wedding. That just didn't get me all interested.
