Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted March 30, 2002 WWF New York sounds as dissappointing as Fan Axxess and all of Vince's other money vacuums.
Guest Jericholic82 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Well it sounds bigger than the WCW Nitro Grill but I bet it is less fun. NG was cool. I stayed at Excalibur in 99 and I was thrilled to go to a wrestling restaurant (even if it was wcw). The funniest thing is I went in there wearing wwf shirts. It had a small store (not much for sale, but i have a NG shirt). It had framed things on the wall, like flairs robe (cool) an old ddp jacket, ravens shorts (wtf) duggans shorts and 2 by 4. The restaurant area was much smaller but still nice. I ate there on the night of bash at the beach 99, so i got to see it (only cost me 5 bucks plus dinner). The food was excellent, with the biggest and best mozzarella sticks I ever tasted and great burger and fries (it was called the hogan burger go figure) They had big screen and their own nitro girls there dancing, plus smoke and pyro while we watched the show. The saddest part was the girls was signing autographs and they werent even the real ones (at least i didnt recognize them). Anyway it was a cool place and I have it on film. too bad it went under as did the company. and the audience seemed limited to older people and kids whose parents woudnt let them watch wwf. plus the fact that they stared at me when I started marking out for benoit.
