Velocity preview for July 5, 2003

Catch Velocity every Saturday night starting at 10/9 CT on TNN!

Matt Hardy is giving Shannon Moore one last chance to prove that he's the No. 1 MFer. Matt has challenged Shannon to a one-on-one match this week on Velocity -- a little tough love from Version 1. Can Shannon prove to Matt that he's got enough Mattitude?

In singles competition, Jamie Noble, accompanied by Nidia, battles Spanky.

Plus, we'll look back at the Zach Gowen & Stephanie McMahon vs. Big Show match, and the WWE Tag Team Title match, from SmackDown!

Don't miss Velocity this Saturday night on TNN!

Confidential preview for July 5, 2003

The World Heavyweight Championship. It's the oldest, most prestigious title in the industry. This week on Confidential (11/10 CT on The New TNN), we'll take a look at the history of the championship, including some of the men who have held the title, like Ric Flair and the "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.

Torrie Wilson went to London on a goodwill ambassador tour, and she took a WWE camera crew with her. Take a tour of London with the Playboy cover girl!

Kurt Angle, who won a gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, recently visited an Olympic training facility in Colorado Springs, and Confidential cameras were on hand for that as well.

Plus, Bradshaw talks about his favorite match, Booker T films a commercial and much more this week on Confidential, airing Saturday night at 11/10 CT on The New TNN!

No matter what they say, that title does NOT share lineage with the WCW/NWA title.

But I'll stop right there before Choken One reminds me that arguing lineage is pointless.

But that title was called "The World Heavyweight Championship" all the time as well, so maybe they mean that lineage, not the Kliq Only lineage of the current belt.

Yeah, Confidential is a repeat.

I would argue that the WHC DOES share lineage with the WCW strap, but that the WCW Title never shared any lineage with the NWA Championship in the first place, and was simply created in 1991.

Though I can also see the argument that the WHC only dates back to September.
