Fender Stratocaster...Squier...not good at all, really...but I love it.

Which makes me sad, because I have to get it repaired.

One of the wires that connect to the input jack for the cable that goes to the amp came clean off. The white wire. I can't see any way to put it back on without paying some fat virgin that works at Mars Music Center or Guitar Center or The Music House a pretty penny to sauder it back on. SHIT...

I wish I had my dream guitar, a Gibson Gothic Explorer, right now...in due time, Laz, in due time...BWAHAHAHAHAHA...

Hey!  A Squire Strat, just like mine...

*kicks his guitar for good measure*

That's bad to hear, but the input jack problem is pretty common among these models, unfortunately - it's just the shitty craftmanship.

Though, oddly, I've whacked somebody over the head with it during a jam session and I think it knocked it in tune.

I guess mileage may vary - how did you get your guitar?  Fender Strat-Pak?

I've had that happen before to my Squire Tele before. Then I sold the fucker and got myself an Epiphone Les Paul instead.

I also have an Ibanez BTB 405 and an Ibanez EDA 900 :D

I'm in the same boat, Laz. Except BOTH my black and white wires don't work.

I just re-wrap them all the time.

Have to borrow other peoples basses during gigs though.

Ibanez cheap guitars ARE MADE CHEAPLY.

(Red) Squire Strat here as well. Though nothing is wrong with it, at this point.

I could use a better amp as opposed to my shitty 10 watt Squire. All I hear is static and the overdrive sounds like my amp is passing gas.
