Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted July 6, 2003 Eric Bischoff will not be on Raw this Monday from Montreal. There is no real reason, except it will be in storyline response to Steve Austin missing Raw last week. This week will be Steve Austin's Raw without Bischoff, in the storyline. Val Venis stated during a radio appearance yesterday that as far as he knew, Mark Jindrak would end up being the fourth member of Evolution. Venis added that he and the Hurricane are scheduled to face Randy Orton and Jindrak at upcoming house shows. The offical website for The American West Arena in Pheonix, where Summer Slam will take place this year, has Triple H vs. Goldberg listed as the main event Man I miss www.knowyournews.com In the most recent edition of Sports Illustrated with Mark Prior & Kerry Wood on the cover, on page 21 there is an article on valuable sports memorabilia. In the article, there is a picture of Rey Mysterio's mask and the sale price is listed at $19.99. The caption with the picture says that it is "Ideal for doing the figure-four leg lock." ----- Alex Marvez reported in the Florida Sun-Sentinel that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is expected to make a return to NWA TNA now that he has been released from the WWE. Piper was released from WWE last week after openly admitting to using illegal drugs in his career on HBO's "Real Sports". He stopped working for TNA when he returned to WWE in late March of this year at WrestleMania XIX. When Piper was last in TNA, he made some controversial statements on air in an uncensored shoot interview including actually blaming Vince Russo for the death of Owen Hart. The story doesn't give any dates or mention how soon Roddy is expected to return to the company. ----- Billy Kidman will be the guest on Off The Record Monday at 6 PM. The show airs in Canada, but we hope to have a report up late Monday. - Steve Blackman has opened up his own "self-defense" school. As of right now, there are no plans for him to return to WWE. Right now, most don't expect Hulk Hogan to agree to a deal with NWA:TNA. He reportedly doesn't want to work with Russo, in addition to the fact that they likely won't offer to pay him what he'd what. Note that TNA hasn't even offered Hogan a deal yet. The second hour of RAW led the cable ratings for last week. For those who don't remember, this was the hour with the Kane/HHH title match, where he ended up unmasking. The first hour came in third, behind the BET awards. On a pretty funny note, a monthly update from Ticketmaster today has revealed that a band called "Gov't Mule" is playing Philadelphia on October 10. The band name being of course one of Jim Ross's favorite phrases. From prowrestling.com and wrestlezone.com

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted July 6, 2003 Well, I'm kinda indifferent to Jindrak, but I am glad to see that Foley won't be back to put over HHH again. Like it or not, HHH/FGB could work as a money match especially with FGB's pops growing as of late.

Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted July 6, 2003 "- Steve Blackman has opened up his own "self-defense" school. As of right now, there are no plans for him to return to WWE." HOW CAN I LIVE? Easy. You sign up for his defense school, then join the wrestling world as "The Student of Steve Blackman" or something of the such. Thus Steve Blackman's legacy lives on via you. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted July 6, 2003 In case anyone is actually curious of what Piper's role will be this week... he is going to be in D-Lo's corner as an equalizer for Russo being in Styles' corner in their NWA title match.
